Paradise Island & Mangroves Tour
Beschrijving
Bezoek een van de mooiste eilanden aan de noordkust. Paradise Island verwelkomt u met turquoise water, wit zand en een kleurrijk rif. Bezoek het Monte Cristi National Park, waar je de mangrove-jungle kunt verkennen en het lokale wilde leven kunt zien. Nadat je bent opgehaald bij je hotel in Puerto Plata, Sosua of Cabarete, ga je naar Punta Rucia en geniet je van het geweldige uitzicht op de prachtige Dominicaanse landschappen. Klim hier aan boord van een speedboot die je naar Cayo Arena (de lokale naam Paradise Island) brengt. Bij aankomst op het eiland word je verwelkomd door turquoise wateren en wit zand. Ga aan wal om te zonnebaden en verken of neem een begeleide snorkeltour waarbij je een verscheidenheid aan tropische vissen en koralen ziet. Geniet van een selectie vers fruit en drankjes die op het eiland worden geserveerd. Maak voor de lunch een speedboottocht door de mangroven. Op de terugweg stoppen we bij een lokale markt.

Bij Playa Ensenada wacht de speedboot om je naar Paradise Island te brengen
Cayo Arena, de lokale naam van Paradise Island. Hier krijg je vers fruit en drankjes. Het snorkeluitrusting wordt verstrekt en een begeleide snorkeltour. Na het bezoek aan Paradise Island ga je door de mangroven met de Speedboot.
In Punta Rucia wordt een typisch Dominicaanse lunch geserveerd.
Op de terugweg maken we een stop bij een lokale markt, na de markt gaan we terug naar uw hotel.

We were taken care of upon our arrival at the hotel and were able to make the reservation easily. It was reassuring because we were taken care of. Superb excursion to take!

The team that drove us on land and sea were great! They made sure everyone had a good time. Matthias was incredible. He was conscientious of my 7 year old daughter and my wife. I so appreciated him. The island swimming and snorkeling was amazing. To top it off through the Mangroves. Trip is worth it!!!
Ours was a different tour, with pigs instead of mangrove, but island part and natural pool is same, vips were on boat for first part then we took a speed boat to see pigs. Paradise Island didn't live up to name. It is small, packed full of people, boats constantly coming and going. It is protected so only thing that can touch the sand is your feet, all bags and such have to hang in cabana. Not sure if it is always rough, but very hard to swim with waves constantly pushing you around, even the few fish you see in water are having trouble swimming straight. We were on a catamaran but i was expecting the big sailboat with the cargo net in front. Nope only ones I saw down here were solid hull motor driven. Experience was nowhere near what you would find in cuba or Puerto Rico which we have done previous years around same time. There was a stop in a natural reef pool which was nice. If you have nothing to compare the whole trip to you will like it.
Hello, this review has nothing to do with our excursion. We don’t visit pigs and we don’t go by catamaran. We are going by speed boat to Cayo Arena so we can go through the mangroves after the island. Kind regards
This was the highlight of our trip. We chose the VIP tour which included a larger boat with snacks and drinks and lobster for lunch. Worth the extra money! The natural pool and Paradise island were amazing. Great swimming and snorkeling. It was the best tour with everything provided. Staff were great! I wish I could have gone again, but it was a 2-hour trip from our hotel.

Thank you for leaving a review. The street conditions vary here in Dominican Republic, when you get out from the highway the roads are not always in great conditions. On the way back there is a stop at local indoor market.
We did 4 excursions on this vacation and this was the best one. The snorkeling at the island is great. The food and drinks were great. We did some of the mangroves slowly learning about them and the wildlife, then we did a neat speed boat trim through some of them. The transport is a bit long from Peurto Plata, but well worth it.

What an amazing experience! Our guide and driver were very knowledgeable and helpful. The drive through the Mangroves was really fun. The island is a true paradise. The snorkeling was fantastic. I would recommend 100% to anyone who wants to have a good day
The drive to get to Paradise island was about 2 and half hours long but Matias and Emanuel kept us entertained all the way.
The ocean was crystal clear and warm! It stopped raining for the time we were there and we got to see so many fish and a stingray! Worth the money! Mendy was a great guide
