We reizen door Paphos, Nicosia en Limassol's platteland, en leggen meer dan 200 kilometer af door dorpen, bossen, diverse landschappen en pekels in de buurt van 2000 meter. Rij door de pittoreske Troodos uitlopersdorpjes gebouwd met witte kalksteen, en stop voor een koffiepauze in een van hen. Verken het serene bos en bezoek een 500 jaar oude Venetiaanse brug. Ontdek het historische en invloedrijke Kykkos-klooster. Vervolg de tocht door de hoge Troodos bergdorpjes gemaakt van donkere stollingssteen. In het dorp Pedoulas, op 1200 meter, kunt u een maaltijd kopen of de omgeving verkennen. Maak een schilderachtige wandeling naar de top van Cyprus, de Olympus, bijna 2000 meter hoog, met een prachtig uitzicht bij elke bocht. Small group feel — The tour runs with a small number of people, so the day feels relaxed and easy to enjoy. Knowledgeable guide — The guide shares useful information about the villages and mountain life in a clear, and interesting way. Well planned route — The stops are sensibly spaced out, with enough time to look around each without feeling rushed. Local food stops — Breaks are arranged at small cafés or tavernas - both great choices. Good photo opportunities — Plenty of chances to stop for views etc. Clear communication — Pick up times and timings throughout the day are explained clearly and kept to.
Our trip was excellent from start to finish. The driver and guide were kind, well-organised, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humour, which made the day even more enjoyable. In just one day, we experienced the incredible diversity of Cyprus, from its beautiful coastline to the breathtaking mountains. We drove through charming mountain villages, visited stunning monasteries, enjoyed delicious coffee in a small local café, and stopped at a wonderful restaurant with spectacular mountain views, where we had a truly delightful meal. The whole trip was perfectly organised and offered a fantastic mix of culture, history, scenery, and local food. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cyprus
We were picked up from our hotel spot on time. From the start our driver, Michalis, was very informative and answered our questions in excellent English and with good humour. The stops were well-chosen and at Omodos we asked for a little extra time to which Michalis readily agreed. The lunch stop was at a pleasant restaurant where the food was good and the prices very reasonable. Michalis made sure that the people in the group mixed well and he was interested in learning from us as well as giving information - the perfect guide. All in all, a memorable day, thoroughly recommended.
Highly recommend! Overall, such a great tour, learnt a lot about Cyprus, felt comfortable and well catered too. Michalis was very kind, also very flexible with us and took good care of us all!

This was a great way to see the mountains and learn about the culture and history of Cyprus. It's a long trip with many stops along the way, but well worth it. Our guide, Michalis, was very knowledgeable and engaging throughout. Highly recommend!
