Ons avontuur begint met een bezoek aan het rustige St. Neofytos Klooster, genesteld in een rustige vallei. Gesticht in de 12e eeuw door de Cypriotische kluizenaar en schrijver Saint Neofytos, staat deze heilige plaats bekend om zijn prachtig bewaard gebleven fresco's en serene sfeer.
Vervolgens stoppen we bij een lokale workshop waar je leert over de creatie van loukoumi, de geliefde zoete lekkernij van Cyprus. Bekijk de ambachtslieden aan het werk, ontdek de traditionele methoden die worden gebruikt en geniet van een voorproefje van deze heerlijke zoetigheden.
Vervolgens bezoeken we de prachtige Agia Paraskevi-kerk, een 9e-eeuws architectonisch wonder met zijn unieke vijfkoepelige ontwerp. Deze oude kerk, die gebouwd zou zijn op de plaats van de oude tempel van Aphrodite, biedt een kijkje in het spirituele erfgoed en adembenemende kunstzinnigheid van het eiland.
Onze reis eindigt in de charmante oude binnenstad van Paphos, waar traditie en moderne flair samenkomen. Wandel door de levendige Agora, verken ambachtelijke boetiekjes en lokale ambachtelijke kraampjes en geniet van de levendige energie van dit historische gebied. Of u nu het prachtige uitzicht bewondert, kunstwinkels ontdekt of ontspant in een gezellig café, de oude binnenstad belooft een perfecte afsluiting van uw dag.

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
U ontvangt een dag voor uw tour een bevestigingsbericht van Project Cyprus Tours met uw ophaaltijd en locatie. De bus wordt duidelijk voorzien van onze bedrijfsnaam voor eenvoudige identificatie. Zorg ervoor dat uw telefoon is ingeschakeld en bereikbaar is op de geplande ophaaltijd, omdat de chauffeur mogelijk contact met u moet opnemen. Houd er rekening mee dat de bus maximaal 5 minuten kan wachten bij het opstappunt. Kleine vertragingen van 10-15 minuten kunnen optreden als gevolg van verkeer of onvoorziene omstandigheden. Wij waarderen uw begrip en houden u op de hoogte indien nodig.

We had signed up for a walking tour but for some reason ended up with Maria on a tour of churches and a monastery in Paphos.which was extremely interesting. The final hour literally shoping in old Panos was not necessary. Maria might have made better use of the microphone. We were embarrassed that we could not provide a tip as Maria did not step out of the coach as individuals left.

We went on a half-day tour of Paphos with our 15 year old son and it was absolutely fantastic. Maria, our guide, was outstanding - knowledgeable, warm and incredibly attentive to our needs. Picked up by mini bus air conditioning was on as it was a very hot day . First we went to the monastery very peaceful lovely gardens. Then we went to a church also very peaceful. Went to see how Cyprus delight was made and bought some lol 😆 was dropped off in the old town where we had time to have a meal and do some shopping. Highly recommend this half day trip
