U vertrekt in de ochtend en begint met een rit naar de oostelijke Cordillera tot aan het hoogste punt op 4000 m, het kan hier mistig zijn, maar bij helder weer kunt u het prachtige uitzicht op de Antisana vulkaan en het omliggende paramo gebied waarderen. Vanaf dit punt bereikt u Termas de Papallacta dat is een van de mooiste thermale warmwaterbronnen Resort en Spa in dit gebied, gelegen tussen spectaculaire bergbossen van de oostelijke Andes hellingen. Eenmaal hier is er een optie voor een korte wandeling dacht een mooi parcours en daarna zult u genieten van de geweldige warmwaterbronnen met optionele gezondheid en schoonheidsbehandelingen in de SPA. Het spa- en hydrotherapiegedeelte biedt een verscheidenheid aan verschillende sensaties, van waterstromen, waterhydromassage of hydromassage met luchtbellen. Na een ontspannen dag rijdt u terug naar Quito.

Excellent experience. A wonderful place for a relaxation in thermal pools in the middle of the Andes. Our driver and guide Christian, who is the owner of the company, was sensational, not letting us miss anything. Excellent. I recommend.

Didn’t think sitting in water for hours would be this enjoyable… but it really was. Time passes differently there. You think you’ve been in for 20 minutes, but it’s been hours. It’s relaxing without being boring, which is rare.
This was an excellent tour! Cristian was a very knowledgeable guide and shared great information during both the drive and nature walk. The hot springs were very lovely. I definitely recommend visits the spa side of the facilities and booking a treatment. The whole vibe is very relaxing and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful mountains.

This service was great, so accommodating to our needs, and the guide was friendly and informative. I knew I needed a private tour because we had some timing issues and I didn't think I could make an 8:00 tour. So we spoke on the phone and basically I was able to get the trip of my dreams, that started when I wanted and ended when I wanted. What's not to love? He also offered us the option of either just a driver or a guide. As I understand that the driver may not speak English but it's less expensive so if you're just looking to go do something and just get a ride they'll wait for you and bring you back. We went to the hot springs and it was great.

The pools were fantastive. Well worth spending time there. Our guide was wonderful. Adapted to our knowledge and experiences we had already in/on Ecuador. We learning any new things that added to our experience in Ecuador and learning of its people.

Papallacta was a wonderful experience! We really enjoyed our day trip from Quito to the mountains. We opted for the spa area which costs an additional $25 per person, but it was worth it. The hot springs were relaxing in a beautiful jungle setting. We ate lunch at the on-site restaurant, and the food was exceptional. We also splurged on massages to round out our day, and the massage therapists did an amazing job. Every part of the day was perfect. Our guide for the day was Rodney, who I highly recommend! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the area, nature, and Ecuador in general. He was able to answer every question we had and he seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. He made a point to stop the car multiple times during the journey to let us capture photos of beautiful scenery, including Antisana volcano. He was one of the best guides we had during our 11 days in Ecuador!

The private trip included transportation to and from our hotel to the spa. It was worth the cost because we had to be picked up at one hotel, taken back to pick up laundry and then taken to our next hotel. If it had been hotel to hotel I would have thought it was $$$.

Super friendly guide and driver. Guide gave us lots of information on Ecuador and answered all our questions. Tailored the trip to meet our needs as we were getting over jet lag. Hot springs are well equipped for changing, showers etc and spotlessly clean.

The day trip to Papallacta was fantastic. The van was extremely comfortable and clean. Our guide took us on a wonderful hike on the property and pointed out all kinds of fauna, flora, and wildlife. Although only about a 45 minute hike, it was one of our favorite of our entire trip. The hot springs are fantastic and relaxing, and the restaurants on the property had top notch service and food. This tour is priced very well and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stress free way to the hot springs.

Fabulous day with perfect weather. We stopped to take pictures of the Volcano that is normally in the clouds. Our guide took us on a nice short hike on arrival at Thermas Papallacta. We checked in and scheduled a spa treatment for later in the afternoon, had a delicious lunch. Tried all the thermal pools and ended the day with a massage. Our very knowledgeable and informative guide gave us great info on the dude up and back. We loved it so much we went back and stayed overnight and ended the pools and beautiful grounds. Best place ever don’t miss it!
