Na de briefing en het wennen aan fietsen, varen we in een rustig tempo om Howth Harbour te ontdekken die door de pieren naar de vuurtoren reist.

Bezoek de zonnige zuidkant van het schiereiland. Dit is de enige tour die langs Strand Road langs de kust gaat en uitkijkt over Dublin Bay en de Wicklow Mountains.
Volg het kustpad naar de Martello Tower in Sutton, gebouwd in 1805
Voor je het weet en met bijna geen moeite zijn we op Howth Quarry en de top van Howth Head met panoramisch uitzicht op Noord, Zuid, Oost en West.
Op weinig bekende paden over de heidevelden vinden we Baily Green en de epische klifpaden, met uitzicht over de Baily Lighthouse en verder. Ons lokale inzicht brengt deze klassieke locaties tot leven, weeft geschiedenis, natuur, legendes en verhalen met moderne tijden.
Op achterpaden en snelkoppelingen die alleen de lokale bevolking kent, verkennen we de onbekende en rustige zonnige kant van Howth Peninsula naar Strand Road en de Sutton Martello Tower, met uitzicht op de VN-biosfeer van Dublin Bay en naar de beroemde Baily Lighthouse. Er zijn geweldige picknickplaatsen hier met een adembenemend uitzicht op Doldrum Bay en de bergen van Wicklow en Dublin.
Freewheel terug naar Howth Harbour, waar onze gasten hun nieuw gevonden lokale kennis kunnen gebruiken om zich echt thuis te voelen met herinneringen aan een Ierse dag die voor altijd zal duren.

A fantastic experience! In just three hours, we went around Howth and visited the "tourist" spots but also more. We're very happy we decided to book this tour, as we don't think we could've comfortably walked to the locations we saw. The price is very fair, as our guide Niki was absolutely lovely and very knowledgeable about the area, and the e-bikes were a godsend.

Had a fantastic time with Eileen and Patrick. We lucked out with the weather, and the views were incredible at every stop. Eileen took photos and videos throughout the tour and shared them afterward, which was a really nice touch. The route took us beyond downtown Howth and around the peninsula, showing us places most visitors never get to see. A great way to experience Howth!

Kudos to Nicky, our energetic guide for giving us a beautiful Sunday morning in Howth. We booked the trip to take our 20-something niece and boyfriend with us on the private 3 hour e-bike tour that was downright amazing. Part exercise, part history and best an outdoor adventure, this was our best activity in Dublin in our 3 days. I did lots of research on companies and definitely chose the best. And Nicky was a top guide w her knowledge and best of all her Irish enthusiasm. Tip: took the taxi from Dublin to get there, but the train back was cheap and easy. Btw, one person had never ridden an e-bike before, but Nicky gave excellent instruction and encouragement.
Aline was a great guide- really knew the area and the history. The sites were amazing- perfect for a beautiful day! Highly recommend this for a beautiful day trip. Note - Howth is a bit away from Dublin, so plan ahead to get there on time. The e-bike makes it easy, but you will ride on moderately bumpy/rocky paths so it’s not for absolute beginners.

Nicola was an amazing tour guide and not only did she knock the tour out of the park, she had Viator email me and then she texted me to move the tour up an hour to miss the rain and she was spot on. Not only was she an outstanding guide that was funny and informative but her heads up to start an hour early kept the tour rain free. I would recommend this tour to any couple or family because her and Luke (Her fix it all man for all things bikes) was an amazing experience!!! Last, she takes pictures (which at the time sounds lame) and within the same day sent my wife and I a lasting video memory that we will cherish forever. Thank you both for the amazing experience!

The e-bike experience was an incredible way to explore the beautiful countryside around Howth. The views were absolutely stunning, and the bikes made it easy to cover a lot of ground while still enjoying the scenery. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome from the start.
