Verken het prachtige natuurwonder Pamukkale, het "Katoenkasteel", een UNESCO-werelderfgoed dat bekend staat om zijn schitterende witte travertijnen terrassen en thermale wateren. Wandel door de oude stad Hierapolis, waar u de necropolis, het groot theater, de Romeinse baden en het graf van Sint-Filippus ziet. Na het ontdekken van deze historische schatten, geniet u van vrije tijd om te ontspannen in de natuurlijke zwembaden of neem een optionele duik in het Cleopatra zwembad, beroemd om zijn genezende eigenschappen. Na een heerlijke lunch sluit u uw reis af met een schilderachtige rit terug naar Antalya, gevuld met onvergetelijke herinneringen.

Op het afgesproken tijdstip in de ochtend komt er een comfortabel voertuig bij uw accommodatie om u op te halen.
We nemen een ontbijt en rustpauze in Korkuteli, waar u kunt genieten van een heerlijke maaltijd en ontspannen voordat u onze reis voortzet. Houd er rekening mee dat het ontbijt niet bij de tourprijs is inbegrepen en voor eigen rekening is.
We bezoeken een Onyx handwerkatelier, waar u getuige kunt zijn van het vakmanschap achter prachtig bewerkte steenproducten. Je krijgt de kans om te leren over de traditionele technieken die worden gebruikt en zelfs unieke handgemaakte souvenirs te kopen.
We hebben een lunchpauze in een lokaal restaurant in de buurt van Pamukkale, waar u kunt genieten van een heerlijke maaltijd en ontspannen voordat u de prachtige natuurlijke en historische bezienswaardigheden verkent.
Bij binnenkomst in Pamukkale laat uw gids u kennismaken met de oude stad Hierapolis, die zijn rijke geschiedenis en fascinerende bezienswaardigheden deelt.
Het 1800 jaar oude amfitheater van Hierapolis, het belangrijkste en meest originele Romeinse theater in het Middellandse-Zeegebied. Gebouwd gedurende 150 jaar, Amfitheater Er is ook de unieke 2500 jaar oude oude stad Pamukkale Hierapolis, die zowel als cultureel als natuurlijk erfgoed op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat. Als resultaat van de restauratie heeft het amfitheater van Hierapolis de belangrijkste en meest unieke plaats tussen de Anatolische theaters uit de Romeinse periode in het Middellandse-Zeegebied met zijn mythologische reliëfs, een prachtig podiumgebouw, zittrap van het Antalya Perge Theater.
We bezoeken de natuurlijke zwembaden van Pamukkale met onze gids. De minaretten in het water veranderen hier de kleuren op het rotsoppervlak. Daarom is overal zo wit als katoen. En water heeft veel voordelen voor het menselijk lichaam.

Antalya was a beautiful jumping off place for Pamukkale and Hierapolis. I didn't swim in the spring water of Pamukkale but the silica formed pools are a unique sight. The adjoining ruins of Hierapolis are historically stunning.

Hierapolis has amazing Roman ruins. The amphitheater was pretty incredible. There is still much to excavate. The pools of Pamukkale are also uniquely beautiful. Our driver and guide Baran were terrific. On time and knowing when to stop on our 3 hr drive from Antalya. August is just a very hot time of year to visit, but glad we didn’t miss it.

In the itinerary and overview it says that cleopatras pools is part of it. I found out the day of that they are not but if I cancel last minute I dont get my money back.

Pamukkale is unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before. The scenery is picturesque and you almost can’t believe what you’re experiencing. The pools are busy, yes, but our tour guide Baran did a good job at structuring the day so that by the time we got to the pools that it was when other tour groups were typically doing lunch. That helped make it feel slightly less busy. And Hierapolis is a sight to behold. Being able to walk around the ruins at your own pace allows you to get what you want out of the day. If you’re looking for a tour guide to walk with you ever step of the way and explain what you are seeing or experiencing, this probably isn’t the tour for you. We did receive some explanation prior to going into Pamukkale/Hierapolis, but other than that you are left to make the visit what you want. I personally didn’t love the visit to the jewelry/rock shop. While they didn’t necessarily feel pushy, the place did feel a bit seedy and didn’t seem to fit in with the rest of the day. I’m not sure why it was included.

The pamukkale tour was spectacular, I felt that the guide at all times explained historical details and also details of the day to day related to history, all very interesting. The only thing I could suggest is that the meal time could be improved, it is true that they explained that it was so to get to a time where there were fewer people, and I still think that eating at 11:30 is very early. The organization and management of the tour was all excellent, since we booked it, communications and the guide super waxy and willing to give us information at all times I recommend the tour to everyone.

Our spectacular Baran guide, from the beginning made a close contact and gave us information of tourist sites and curious facts of Turkish society. Very nice food 👌 and Pamukale and Hirapolis. I would recommend starting by seeing the ruins of Hierapolis and then going to the picinas of Pamukale because as soon as you arrive there are always a lot of people (depending on the time you arrive) we arrived around 12.30 / 13 and left around 16h and there were not so many people anymore.
