Paleis van Versailles Paspoort Entry met digitale audio

Going to Palace of Versailles was an amazing experience. But I would skip this tour completely and just buy the pass on the official website. It’s cheaper. Plus the audio app this tour supplied us didn’t work. The app wouldn’t load and one of the codes they gave us to use the app was invalid. We attempted to reach out to the company and there was no response. In conjunction to that they sent us a message after booking that our original booking time wasn’t available and we needed to change it to a later time. We were fine with that but I got no confirmation and neither did Viator so I was panicking trying to get a hold of them to confirm our later admission time.

We did not receive our tickets 24 hours in advance as promised and had to go through the online chat so that Viator could contact the travel company to provide our tickets only a few hours before our entry time. The downloadable tour did not work and would not download to our phones, so we had to buy the audio tour at the castle. Disappointed.

Everything was good, we wish we could have spent more time at palace We booked 5pm tickets but palace was close at 6:30pm

Tickets were no good at the Versailles entrance. Obviously a scam through TripAdvisor!!! Do not book anything through them !!! No response from vendor that I bought ticket through TripAdvisor website !!

Don’t book Versailles through Trip Advisor!!!! They won’t honor your booking voucher.

Versailles was beautiful especially the gardens. What was even better was the great viator rep that helped me when I could not locate my tixs. Almost bought new ones before I decided to call the number not thinking anyone would answer. But he did & immediately sent tixs via what’s up. Saved me. Thank you.

We thought we wont be able to reach, we were late half hour but security let us in. When we enter the Versailles it was so amazing, Such a beautiful Palace We spent the whole day in Versailles and absolutely worth it.

The host never showed up. We didn’t get the audio. We didn’t get to see the gardens. I would never recommend TripAdvisor to anyone.

We were at the meeting place and the guide was not there. We did not get the audio tour. Had to go into the information area and have them grant us access to the palace. Totally messed up. We were at the proposed meeting place over 1/2 hr early. Nothing was identified. Not very satisfied.

Upon arriving to Versailles, the Cafe Regalia meeting point provided in directions did not appear on Google maps (there was no physical address). We asked multiple locals where this was located and none were familiar with this cafe. We sent messages to the tour agent but did not ever get a response. We were thankfully able to get in line at the palace ourselves and gained entry. The audioguide we were sent prior to visit and that we downloaded to our devices prior to leaving the hotel would not play either. There is a free audioguide and map that can be downloaded which we used instead and that worked beautifully. We would NOT recommend the expense of booking this tour as we ended up having to do everything ourselves.
