Verken Kreta en bezoek het legendarische paleis van Knossos Stap in het hart van de Minoïsche beschaving door een bezoek aan het Paleis van Knossos, de oude hoofdstad van Minoïsch Kreta. Boek je skip-the-line ticket voor Knossos en sluit je aan bij een minigroep voor een begeleide wandeling (90 minuten) in het paleis van Knossos met een gediplomeerde gids. Boek deze optie om het paleis van Knossos binnen te gaan en de drukte te vermijden. • U hoeft niet in de rij te wachten. Ga rechtdoor naar de ingang. • Vraag uw tickets niet aan de kassa's. Zoek naar onze operator met een bord met een "WeGuide"-logo. Knossos, een verbijsterend complex van meer dan 1500 in elkaar grijpende kamers, een echt labyrint, was meer dan een kooi van de gruwelijke Minotaurus. Het was een verbazingwekkend paleis, gebouwd voor een machtige koning uit de bronstijd. Terwijl we door de labyrintische ruïnes dwalen, krijgt u de kans om de originele troon van '' Minos 'te zien, die na 3500 jaar nog steeds op zijn plaats staat; de raadselachtige heiligdommen, de luxueuze binnenlandse vertrekken van de koninklijke familie, de eens barstte van de schatten van Kreta en de verbazingwekkende waterbeheersystemen, om maar een paar van de Minoïsche wonderen te noemen!

Als u na uw geplande tijd aankomt, vervallen de tickets helaas. In dat geval zullen wij ons best doen om u te helpen bij de aankoop van een nieuw ticket, afhankelijk van beschikbaarheid. Voor wie met de auto komt: Houd rekening met extra tijd om parkeergelegenheid te vinden. Wij raden aan om minimaal 30 minuten voor aanvang van de tour aanwezig te zijn.
- Controleer uw locatie voordat u boekt! Knossos Palace ligt op slechts 5 km (20 min) van Heraklion haven / luchthaven - erg handig. Het is niet handig vanaf Chania (Souda haven of CHQ luchthaven) - het is 140 km afstand (2,5 uur met de auto). Wij zijn gevestigd in Heraklion stadscentrum

I learnt so much about the Minoan civilisation the tour spoke excellent English and made the palace of Knosos real. It was a civilisation art tour guide was wonderful and the bus was safe comfortable and the driver was obliging that existed 4000years ago The. Tour guide was Christina explained brilliantly. Would recommend the tour and the guide we were well looked after. We booked the tour that's through our hotel. We had a great tour. Not too long, short- just right. Our wonderful guide, Georges, gave us a great commentary on the palace history and culture. He knew the best places to stand for great photos. The group was a great size. Not big. Relaxing walk through ancient history. We recommend you go the Heraklion Archaeological Museum afterwards to see all the frescos and artifacts from the palace.

Very well organized tour with an exceptional guide. The communication from the company was great. Tour leader arranged for me to go back into the grounds after our tour was over. So glad I booked early morning and small group. By 10 am the grounds were packed with people and it was getting hot. I entertained the idea of a self tour but very glad I opted for a guide. I think you obtain more insight and background story. I highly recommend this tour.

It gets you in when the venue is not crowded. The guide is very knowledgeable and friendly. The Palace of Knossos is not to be missed.
