Tangopaleis : twee eeuwenoude zalen Een onvergetelijke ervaring in het hart van Buenos Aires Het is een unieke ruimte in zijn soort voor het houden van evenementen, het is gelegen in de General Güemes Gallery, een laat art nouveau stijl gebouw dat een interieur voetgangerspassage die Florida en San Martín straten verbindt heeft. Het was het eerste gebouw in Buenos Aires dat volledig van gewapend beton werd gebouwd en wordt ook beschouwd als de eerste wolkenkrabber in de stad. Het bestaat uit het Astor Piazzolla Theater en het Carlos Gardel Theater, en in beide ruimtes vallen de verfijning, elegantie en pure Art Noveau stijl van de Belle Epoque op. Onze show : een onvergetelijke avond Een theater ingehuldigd in 1915, pure operastijl van de Belle Epoque, zorgvuldig gerestaureerd in zijn oorspronkelijke staat met behoud van een perfecte akoestiek zal uw bezoek een absoluut onvergetelijke avond maken. Piazzolla Tango is het centrum voor kunst en tango-entertainment in Buenos Aires. Het theater met Piazzolla-tango, opgericht in 1915 door de Italiaanse architect Francisco Gianotti, is een van de meest luxueuze en klassieke theaters in heel Buenos Aires. Terwijl je door het theater en de tangohal slingert, bevind je je in de ondergrondse art nouveau General Guemes Gallery waar je van de show kunt genieten. Je wordt meegenomen door de muziek en dans van klassieke componisten zoals Piazzolla, Pugliese, Gardel, Mores Discepolo en anderen.

I expected a bit more Tango dancing And less singing. Also the sound was too loud
The tango show was wonderful and of the highest level. The artists and musicians proved to be truly talented, virtuous, and extraordinarily engaging, providing an exciting and authentic experience. Unfortunately, the seats we were assigned were not particularly comfortable and made watching the show less pleasant. Furthermore, the presence and consumption of food inside the theater created a feeling that was not very appropriate for the nature of the show and, in my opinion, disrespectful toward the artists and musicians, who were offering a performance of great value. Overall, the show is definitely worth seeing, especially for the extraordinary skill of the artists. However, it would be desirable for the organization and the environment to be more respectful of the quality and elegance of the performance.
Amazing musical experience! Not only the dancers, but also the singers and the musicians were much better than what I expected. Piano, bass, violin, bandoneon, etc, were of very profesional quality! My kids and my wife enjoyed the show. The grandparents were so impressed with the show that they remained emotional for many hours after the show!
At first, everything looks normal, 1.5 hours before the show, we received a email saying our reservation was canceled (after being charged to our credit card). We immediately got in contact with TripAdvisor that was serving as a messenger to understand that the vendor, was rejecting our reservation and asking us to rebook the next day, this was impossible because we were leaving the next day. We decided to show up to the establishment to find out that due to another couple, celebrating their anniversary, the vendor, to acomodate to this couple, they just decided to cancel our reservation.. Because we were there in person, they felt pressured to honor and acomodate our previously made and paid reservation. The show was supposed to start at 9, it started at 10:20. The presentation of the food was aceptable but it took forever to be served. The quality of the meat was ok, but not for the cost of the meal. The host of the establishment were very nice and proper. The show, even it started late, was absolutely wonderful. The dancers were super professionals, the singers and musicians were second to none.. The establishment: Need to honor, first come first served. The food service: Needs to be served more on time and in a more efficient way. The quality of the meat: Come on, it's Argentina, one of the best in the world in meat production, for the price, they can do a bit better.
We chose the show only option and we could not fault the show itself, the dancers and musicians were so talented. Some aspects that werent great were that we booked the show for 9:30 but it actually started at 10. We also had the waiter interrupt us before the show ended insisting we needed to pay during the dances, requiring us to leave the table and miss the end. Overall, still worth seeing though
The show was pretty good, it does get repetitive after 30 minutes but it’s worth going to see. It lasts an hour; but it doesn’t start until 10pm. The company that organise this aren’t the best, they messaged me a link to choose my pick up point twice, but the link didn’t work for me. I communicated this with them and they took several days to reply stating that pick up is not included with the “show only” option… so why message asking for my pick up location!!
Love the whole experience the show was only an hour we were sitted by 8pm and dinner was drawn out, show didn’t start till 10pm
Great show! We went with our two teenaged girls and all loved it. My youngest plays the violin and was enthralled by the glamorous and talented concertmaster in the live orchestra. The dancers were spectacular and the setting was gorgeous. Drinks were good and not super expensive. A great last minute add to our time in BA!
We knew that Buenos Aires lives and breathes tango but tango show was a beautiful proof to all of that! Every performer, every song, every dancer and every music note from the band was beautiful, intriguing and unique. We couldn’t remove our eyes out of the stage and loved it so much. We left show with excitement, love and inspiration inside of us! Totally recommend!
It was beautiful! I recommend it 100%. The singing, the musicians and the dancers did such an amazing job. We left so happy and it was a perfect way to end our trip in Argentina.
