We had an amazing paella workshop with Carlos! From the moment we arrived, he made everyone feel welcome with his kindness, great sense of humor, and enthusiasm. He explained every step clearly, helped us whenever we needed it, and made the whole experience both fun and educational. The paella turned out absolutely delicious, and we learned so many useful cooking tips that we can use at home. On top of that, Carlos shared lots of great recommendations and insider tips about the city, which made our stay even better. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and we would highly recommend this workshop to anyone visiting Málaga. Thank you, Carlos, for such a fantastic experience!

The paella cooking class with Carlos was an excellent experience. First he took us to the market to learn what products to buy. Then we returned to the kitchen and tasted different olive oils. Afterward we prepared sangria, gazpacho, paella, and churros. Carlos was very fun and concerned with teaching us a bit of history and ensuring everything was well cooked. It was the best paella we have tasted so far! A very entertaining experience. I absolutely recommend it!
Carlos made this cooking class an absolute highlight of our trip! He somehow managed to rescue those of us whose cooking skills could generously be described as “enthusiastic” without making us feel hopeless. 😂 His jokes kept everyone laughing, and just as importantly, he was happy to laugh at everyone else’s terrible jokes too. The class had the perfect balance of fascinating local history and hands-on cooking, so you learn why you’re making each dish as well as how to make it. You can tell Carlos genuinely loves what he does, and his enthusiasm is contagious. By the end of the class we were full, laughing, and somehow convinced we could recreate the recipes at home (Carlos clearly has more faith in us than we deserve!). If you’re in the area, don’t miss this class. Great food, great fun, and an even better host. Thanks, Carlos!
