Paddan op Säveån
Beschrijving
Ervaar een van de mooiste waterwegen van Göteborg tijdens een twee uur durende live begeleide boottocht langs Säveån, vaak de eigen 'Amazone' van de stad genoemd. De klassieke Paddan-boot vertrekt vanaf de Kungsportsplatsen en voert u door de historische gracht en het Grote Havenkanaal voordat u de rivier de Göta bereikt en verder gaat naar het weelderige, wildrijke landschap van Säveån. Terwijl je langs wilgenbomen, oude houten boten en levendige flora glijdt, deelt de Gids verhalen in het Zweeds en Engels over het maritieme erfgoed van Göteborg, historische kades en bezienswaardigheden. Met een beetje geluk spot je een bever langs de rivieroever. De boot met open dak biedt een vrij uitzicht en het is aan te raden om u aan te kleden voor het weer. Deze rustige tour is perfect voor iedereen die de natuurlijke schoonheid van Göteborg buiten het stadscentrum wil verkennen.

Great guide. Unfortunately not so happy with the tour on the river. It was so overgrown forest so you didn't see much.

This was a little different round to go along Säveån. You got to see another side of Gothenburg. The guide was very nice and told us all the time about everything we saw. We also went inside Gothenburg on the canals. Well worth the ride!

Paddan sightseeing is a very nice way to see and get to know Gothenburg. This tour on Säveån is absolutely magical. Such beautiful surroundings and exciting stories about the old boatyards passed. If you are lucky you will also get to see some of the rich wildlife along the river. A fantastic tour for us Gothenburgers too. A tribute to the crew Harald and Lisa on Paddan boat 12. Really informative and humorous guided tour by Harald. Lisa steered the boat with a safe hand. Top rating!!!

A bit on the pricy side, but interesting. The best was the guide, Tova. Lots of information with the driest humour and twist of words that you can imagine. I giggled most of the time onboard due to her. Bravo!

Enjoyed our experience! Was a lovely way to learn about Gothenburg and neat to see the town from the water way. Thought our tour guide - Viktor, I believe - was wonderful and comedic. Our captain, Glenn (?) was skilled at navigating the waterways. Advertisement for the tour does note going under several bridges in the canal but did not mention how short the clearance can be at times. We went on a day where water was high and ducking under bridges was necessary for the majority of the 20 bridges we crossed under. Made for a fun and unique experience but may not be most suitable for someone with mobility issues and/or claustrophobia (most passes under the bridge were short periods but some of the bigger bridges were likely 4+ car lanes in width).

Can really recommend this boat tour Säveån. The guide Bjarne was incredibly good. With its knowledge and professionalism, this tour was magical. Fun with some Gothenburg humor is a plus. Thanks also mate.
