De witte zandstranden van Waikiki zijn niet alleen geweldige attracties van Oahu. Geen reis is compleet zonder de iconische bergtoppen van Oahu te zien. Deze 30 minuten durende helikoptervlucht biedt uitzicht op Diamond Head, de drie toppen van Mt. Olomana en Nu'uanu Pali. Onderweg ziet u ook de smaragdgroene wateren van Haunama Bay, de vuurtoren op Makapu'u Point en Pearl Harbor.

Je helikopterbeleveniservaring begint boven de zuidkust van het eiland, zodat je de skyline van Honolulu en de Diamond Head-krater kunt zien op een manier die niet mogelijk is vanaf het strand.
De beschutte wateren en ongelooflijke koraalriffen van Hanauma Bay passeren onder je terwijl je zweeft tussen de nabijgelegen kliffen en vulkanische uitstulpingen - de overblijfselen van de vulkanische geboorte van het eiland.
Als je Makapu'u Point afrondt, volg je de Bovenwindse kust en zijn lange uitgestrekte witte zandstranden en turquoise wateren terwijl ze je naar de prachtige bergen daarachter leiden.
Als je naar binnen draait, passeer je de drie scherpe toppen van de beroemde berg Olomana, kenmerkend voor de Engelse vertaling, "verdeelde heuvel".
De weelderige tropische vegetatie van de Nu'uanu-vallei verbergt een geheim: Oahu is geboren uit vuur.
Een adembenemende passage door de kliffen van Nu'uanu Pali en de weelderige regenwouden die erin liggen, leidt je terug naar de Benedenwindse kant van het eiland en Pearl Harbor.
De vlucht eindigt met een pas over het USS Arizona Memorial en een nieuwe waardering voor de vulkanische oorsprong van Oahu en het spectaculaire terrein.

- Voor deuren buiten tours zijn jassen en/of sweatshirts, schoenen met gesloten neus en haarelastiekjes vereist. Lange broeken zijn aan te raden.
- Bij het boeken van de deuren uit ervaring, kan uw stoel al dan niet direct naast een open deur staan.
- Alleen passagiers met een gewicht van 80 lbs of meer mogen vliegen met de deur eraf in onze Robinson R44-helikopter. Alleen passagiers met een gewicht van 100 lbs of meer mogen vliegen met de deur eraf in onze Airbus Astar-helikopter.
- Alle passagiers van 24 maanden en ouder moeten een volledige stoel kopen.
- Voor elke gast die 250 pond of meer weegt, is een gewichts- en balansvergoeding vereist om het vliegtuig veilig te balanceren. Voor gasten die tussen 250 en 275 pond wegen, wordt na boeking een vergoeding van 50% van de stoelprijs in rekening gebracht. Voor gasten met een gewicht van 275 lbs of hoger wordt na boeking een extra stoelaankoop beoordeeld.

Must go experience! I thought I would be feared of height turned out it’s not scary at all! Only the splendid view will shock you! And thanks to the great flying skill of captain JoJo, stable and smooth, I feel safe during the trip. Anyway, very much worth it!

The Rainbow Helicopter team is professional and helpful. They are really responsive to questions through the Viator app. Josh was the pilot for today's flight. He was excellent handling the bird and answering questions. It was my first helicopter ride and I felt confident in his ability to show us around the island and get us safely back on the ground.

The ride was beautiful. Cody the pilot pointed out a lot of the landmarks and knew a lot of the the history of it making it a really cool experience aside from the helicopter ride as well.
