I was lucky to get tickets for a Corcovado 2D/1N stay at Sirena station mid August 2026. Pick up and drop-off were quick, smooth and well organized. Sirena station offered all you needed: showers (outside temperature), toilets, free water refill, a little shop in case you forgot to bring sth. (Or wanted souvenirs) and beds with very functional mosquito nets. Every meal was delicious and filling. We were a group of five and had a blast with our guide José. He spotted lots of creatures (e.g. tapirs, different monkey species, anteater, beaver, bats, tarantula, numerous birds) that we would have passed without realizing. José was relaxed, funny, knowledgeable and shared interesting biological facts about the forest, its inhabitants/plants and how species interact within the ecosystem/one another. We had time to observe animals, take fotos/videos and ask lots of questions. If you have a favourite animal that you’d love to see, tell him, and he will try to find it for you. All of us had a lovely time and felt well taken care of. I can highly recommend to do the tour with him/Pacheco Tours. Corcovado NP is a beautiful place and we were lucky with our sightings. Thanks for everything!
A fantastic experience. Thanks to our guide Erick, the all-seeing eye, we were able to see a lot of animals and enjoy his explanations. The night at Sirena is worth it. Very well organized. I would do it again and I recommend it 100%
It was surreal being in this raw and beautiful rainforest seeing nature as it’s intended to exist! Marlon was our guide and he was amazing at listening to his surroundings for locating and spotting various wildlife. He really takes his job seriously and cares for nature immensely, and it shows. I feel like we had the best guide and I’m very grateful for him and this experience. We saw tapir, treetop sloth, giant anteaters, cuati, howler, spider and squirrel monkeys, an otter, bats, tarantulas, so many different birds, and the list goes on. If you do the overnight trip like I did, be prepared for a hot and sweaty sleep on rubber mattresses with the tiniest pillow imaginable, but the food was great and plentiful and it was just an overall immersive and awesome experience.
We were lucky to be accompanied by a good guide. (EIDER). A great professional with great wisdom about everything that surrounds him, besides having that knowledge, he knows how to transmit it and does it with pleasure. We were also lucky enough to spot a Humpback whale on the Corcovado/Drake route, something truly incredible to see.
Very good company and especially the guide Ayder, he explained all the animals and species we saw in Corcovado to us with great care and passion; you can tell that the guy studies a lot and really likes it, with a smile at all times. I recommend you take this excursion, and especially with Ayder, since we saw that he was the best guide in Corcovado without a doubt. Very good experience!!
Good company and everything well organized! But I must highlight Ayder, our guide, who has shown that he is a great professional, explaining everything to us at all times with great care and accompanying us on this adventure. Lucky to have had him as a guide
It is a special experience. We can recommend it. It is easy to work with the vendor and the tour was well organised!
A unique experience. From the moment of booking, they tried to provide us with every convenience in a very kind and quick manner, so that we could fit it into our tight itinerary. Our guide was Ayder, and the truth is that we could not have been better off with him. He made the tour truly wonderful. He was very involved in ensuring we could see as many animals as possible, and he had great knowledge that he was able to convey to us very well. He was also very attentive to ensuring we were comfortable during our stay. The group was small, which allowed us to be very comfortable so we could enjoy the hikes while we explored nature. The night at the lodge, quite an experience with the sound of the jungle in the background. Perhaps the food on both days could be improved, as compared to the dinner and breakfast, it was a little less elaborate (although the latter depends on the lodge and not Pacheco tours). Without a doubt, we would repeat the experience with Pacheco and Ayder.
What I can highlight the most is the experience lived with our guide Marlon. He is an enthusiast of nature, dedicated and passionate about his work. He has been walking the trails for more than 10 years and that experience shows. His environmental and nature preservation awareness is remarkable. Without a doubt, I recommend this guide, who is also patient, caring, and very kind to his clients.
Our guide Ayder was truly the best. He made these 2 days a great experience! We learned a lot about the plants and animals; he was involved with such love and enthusiasm for nature, it was truly impressive! Thank you very much for everything!
