De mis op paaszondag in het Vaticaan is een van de heiligste gelegenheden van het christendom en de vraag naar kaartjes is enorm, ook al zijn ze gratis. Zorg dat je in St. Peter's square voor de service door vooraf je tickets en je pick-up met privéauto te reserveren. De paasmis bijwonen met paus Leo XIV in het Vaticaan zal een unieke ervaring zijn!

De Heilige Mis op Paaszondag wordt gehouden door paus Leo XIV op het Sint-Pietersplein en begint meestal om 10:15 uur. Op het plein kunnen tot 80.000 mensen staan en op Paasochtend is het helemaal vol. De mis is gratis bij te wonen, maar kaartjes zijn verplicht, dus reserveer je kaartjes van tevoren. Om 12.00 uur geeft de paus de paasboodschap en zegen, Urbi et Orbi genaamd, vanaf de centrale loggia, of balkon, van de Sint-Pietersbasiliek.
**St. Het Peterplein** is het prachtige plein voor de Sint-Pietersbasiliek. De Petrusbasiliek in Vaticaanstad, ontworpen door Gian Lorenzo Bernini in de 17e eeuw. Omgeven door zijn iconische zuilengalerijen verwelkomt het jaarlijks miljoenen pelgrims en bezoekers. Het is het middelpunt van vele pauselijke ceremonies en een van 's werelds beroemdste religieuze en culturele bezienswaardigheden.

I was really looking forward to mass on Easter at the Vatican and was elated with the experience. Alda picked me up at 6am and was as pleasant as could be. She kept me informed of everything that was going on. We shared many stories over the course of the morning and enjoyed the fresh air. She was able to get our seats right up front and in front of the big screen (a definite plus). She made sure that I could see everything and understand everything. Even though the crowds were huge, Alda made sure that I was where I needed to be at the right time. This was the best Easter ever! I would do it all over again and would recommend this to anyone.

Beatrice was warm, kind, knowledgeable, and wonderfully down to earth. She made my Easter Sunday, attending Mass with the Pope at the start of my European pilgrimage, truly unforgettable. While we waited, she bought me espresso, brought a warm blanket and snacks, caring for every little detail. She secured incredible seats and gently guided me through my first experience in St. Peter’s Square with thoughtful tips and reassurance. Our tour guide Alessandra got us through the security checks well. Thanks to their great support we got a place in the 4 row. We have had a good view of the whole scenario throughout the Pope's Mass, especially Pope Leo. In summary, we were superbly looked after by Alessandra until the end.
