I had a wonderful time with Ilsa, my guide whom pjcked me up from the Bled bus station. After meeting my horse Hassoo and we set off accompanied by Daisy the Australian Shepherd. We rode for 2 hours along country lanes, through farming land, a village and along peaceful and picturesque sections of the Soca River. The views of Triglav Mountain and the alps were stunning, dotted with wildflowers everywhere. A very enjoyable and rewarding ride managed with care and consideration.
Thank you so much for your visit. It was great to meet you and you are welcome to join us again any time.
This tour was one of the top three highlights of my entire holiday! Chris brings such a depth of knowledge about Austrian wine and has curated a tour that showcases a wonderful array of wineries and winemakers. I thoroughly enjoyed every stop we made and loved getting to taste such delicious wines. I can’t recommend it enough - I’m already planning my next visit!
Nice experience. Very relaxed with child and little riding experience of the child. Otherwise it would be a little too quiet... beautiful way. A bit strenuous guide, but the second was very nice.
Thank you for your review. It was great to host you in sLOVEnia.
Lovely location, friendly staff and good horse for sure. However the ride was not two hours it was one and a half hours - I saw this comment previously. So that is the only reason I have marked it as average.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
I was a first time rider, as were my 2 daughters, aged 10 and 12. I was very nervous. There was no slow intro, we were just greeted and told which horses we'd be riding. Up we got and we were off. Straight into the deep end! The instructor / host rode at the front, holding ropes tethered to the horses my daughters were on. The route went along roads, up and down mountain roads, through beautiful parkland and along a river. We had a full 2 hours on the horses and must have covered 8-10 miles. The horses were easy to control, though mine stopped to at every bit of grass to have a feed. I had to keep pulling its head up by the reigns so i didn't get left too far behind. There was a bit of ducking under branches and bus shelters as you are quite high up on a horse! One of the highlights, and scarier moments, was was stopping in a fast flowing stream so the horses could have a drink. Overall it was a very enjoyable activity. Pick up and drop off from the bus stop on Cesta Svobode was easy, though the driver was a bit delayed at the end of the activity, so we hung around the stable for a while.
Thank you for your review. It was great to spend a day with your family. Wish you all the best and looking forward to meet you again.
I loved this experience from start to finish, even the cold couldn't deter me. Climbing back onto the saddle after so many years was very satisfying and the horse I rode was beautiful and a well behaved young male. Just to be able to soak up the scenery and see it from a different perspective was lovely and I thank the trainer's for providing it.
Shout out to Ilse for making this experience such a lovely time experiencing the scenery at Bled but also to horse back riding. She even messaged me when I accidentally left my sunnies and made the effort to meet me at Bled to return it. You’re a star!
Horses are very healthy and beautiful!! Staff are so friendly and helpful :) ride at some of the most scenic nature
A wonderful adventure! I was picked up right on time, and taken directly to the stables. I was the only beginner in the group, but this meant I had a guide 1:1. She clarified that I'm a beginner, and asked questions about how I would like to ride e.g whether solo or with my horse on a lead. This made me feel very comfortable and listened to. We walked through fields of corn, before going into the woods and through a river- this was a highlight. My guide even stopped to take some pictures for me to remember the day. We then walked back to the stables along quiet roads, and I was picked up and dropped off back at the bus stop. Thank you so much for a fantastic morning! PS My guide said she takes children horse camping in the area- if this was offered to adults I would love to do this too! :)
We are so happy for you and you are welcome at our place any time. Wish you all the best from sLOVEnia.
A very enjoyable ride through lovely countryside. We were put in small groups of similar ability and were able to trot and canter on the ride. The horses, equipment and guide were excellent.
Thank you so much for your visit and lovely review. It was great to meet you!
