Ga op een dagavontuur terwijl je ten noorden van Bangkok naar de historische stad Ayutthaya reist, ooit de hoofdstad van een 14e-eeuws Siamees koninkrijk. Deze UNESCO-werelderfgoedlocatie staat bekend om zijn opmerkelijke archeologische wonderen, waaronder prachtige paleizen en tempels. Uw verkenning begint bij het indrukwekkende koninklijke klooster, waar u de opvallende witte pagode kunt bewonderen die in het hart van het oude complex ligt. Breng vervolgens een bezoek aan Wat Mahathat, beroemd om de iconische boom met een Boeddhahoofd verstrengeld in zijn wortels. Vervolg je reis bij Wat Phra Sri Sanphet en Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit, waar je dieper in Ayutthaya's rijke geschiedenis duikt. Rond 13:00 uur stap je aan boord van een boot voor een schilderachtige cruise langs de serene Chao Phraya-rivier, genietend van een heerlijke lunchbuffet terwijl je geniet van het prachtige uitzicht op de rivier. 13.00 uur Welkom aan boord van de Grand Pearl Cruiser in WAT CHONG LOM (provincie Pathum Thani) om terug te varen naar Bangkok langs de Chao Praya-rivier. Er wordt een voortreffelijk lunchbuffet geserveerd met een heerlijke verscheidenheid aan oosterse en westerse gerechten. De cruise gaat langs de Nonthaburi-pier, Koh Kret (de gemeenschap van Mon) en lokale Thaise dorpen. 15.00 uur Koffiepauze wordt geserveerd terwijl u geniet van de betoverende bezienswaardigheden langs de oevers van de rivier, zoals het Royal Bargeshouse, Thammasart University, The Royal Grand Palace, Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) etc. 16.00 uur Aankomst bij het River City Pier Shopping Complex.

This was an excellent excursion! My family and I really enjoyed the temples and the boat ride back was so scenic and fun! The food was wonderful and there was more than enough for everyone. Our guide, First, did a great job!

This was a superb tour led by a truly outstanding tour guide, Donna. The historical sites we visited were amazing, and were enhanced by Donna’s narrative. The culminating river cruise was excellent as was the buffet lunch on board.

Amazing experience with Donna . Good food for people who eat non veg , and great relaxation time on cruise after much walkiing at Ayuthaya

Great transfere to the ruins and you get to spend a nice amount of time there and learn the history. The boat portion was ok. The food is buffet style with nothing really that good. The boat trip down the river is pretty long and some pretty views.

We enjoyed our tour with our guide Donna very much. Lunch in the boat was a little disappointing. Our group of six arrived. There were many people already in the boat eating lunch. Many of the items were cold. And one item never got replaced. We did enjoy the ride back on the boat.

The tour guide was nice. The coach driver was good. The guide had plenty of information to tell us about the different places we stopped, but it didn't give us too much time to explore, etc..So we felt a little rushed at times to get back to the bus. Overall it was nice though. The lunch cruise back to Bangkok was nice too with good foods.

Our guide Donna was excellent. She is funny and engaging, while also explaining the details of what we were going to see. The best thing I liked about this trip was that everything is very punctual. The tour started on the dot on time, and we were back in the hotel on time. Ayuthaya is beautiful - and while the tour doesnt stop at every single place, it does stop at all the key highlights - the Wat Mahathat , the Main palace & the sleeping Buddha. The highlight of the trip is clearly the cruise back from Ayuthaya to Bangkok. The food on board is fantastic (you have vegetarian options as well for those who need it) and you get to see some very beautiful sights along the river. This tour is highly recommended for couples who need a structured trip, and for families with children.

Our guide Donna knew so much about Ayutthaya and gave good advice all day. The boat ride back to Bangkok was actually a river cruise on a nice boat with an elaborate buffet. I was pleasantly surprised by that. We had a great day.

The tour was cancelled within the 24hr cancellation period and they tried to make us cancel it to avoid paying for it. Had to contact Tripadvisor to get a refund. This was very poor and disappointing.
