We bieden een unieke kans om enkele van de oudste eetgelegenheden van Venetië te ontdekken: oude tavernes, familiebedrijven en traditionele verborgen restaurants die door Venetianen worden rondgehangen. Je verkent het gebied van Rialto en zijn schaduwrijke steegjes met een lokale gids die inzichten deelt over het Venetiaanse eten en de cultuur. Voor de meest gepassioneerde en nieuwsgierige foodies hebben wij 5 foodspots van topkwaliteit geselecteerd. Alle gerechten en wijnen die tijdens deze tour worden geserveerd, worden geproduceerd in de regio Veneto. Heb je er ooit aan gedacht om wat wijn te drinken in een vijfhonderd jaar oude taverne? Wil je lokale pasta met vis proeven in een honderd jaar oud restaurant? wij zullen ervoor zorgen dat het gebeurt! Dit en nog veel meer zal gebeuren tijdens een ontspannend culinair avontuur met kleine groepen van 3/3,5. De tour begint met het typische Venetiaanse arbeidersontbijt in het hart van de Rialto-markt (gesloten op maandag) en eindigt met een heerlijk regionaal dessert: de tiramisu! Our tour today was both historically and culturally engaging as well as perfectly planned. Georgia is extremely knowledgeable, but she is also wonderful conversationally and shares a connection with Venice that is quite impressive.

The breakfast very good and the treatment of the girls very good, although they were overwhelmed by lack of staff and professionalism, the only one who was the blonde girl with glasses and something the one with red hair, very nice but normal that they did not arrive!

Silvia is the most wonderful tour guide! This is probably one of the best food tours we’ve been on. Silvia shared a beautiful overview of the history, culture, and traditions of the city, and all of the food stops were generously portioned and thoughtfully considered. Lunch outside with two pasta courses was a highlight, and we traveled all over the city. Highly recommend! Our two teenage daughters loved it as well.

We really enjoyed our tour with Streaty in Venice. It was good to try lots of local delicacies as well as some fabulous wine. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about Venice away from the bustling crowds.

Giorgia was a delightful host. We had so many delicious snacks and drinks and learned a ton about the history of Venice! Highly recommend. One warning - make sure you have a tolerance for seafood, because most of what you will be eating is *very* fishy (some veggies/cheese being the exception). My wife and I love fish and seafood so it was heavenly for us, but if you aren't used to some pretty fishy food it might be more challenging. Still, may be worth it for the drinks and history alone!

Me and my husband are super foodies, we took the Streaty tours in Palermo and Naples and enjoyed them so much! This is why we decided to discover Venice with Streaty as well. Anna Chiara our guide was super friendly and funny, and the tour is great. You have the chance discover the Rialto market of Venice while trying a lot of delicious local food (many famous Venetian "cicchetti", served in authentic "bacari" out of the crowd; 2 traditional and yummy pasta recipes in a family run trattoria, dessert in a historic bakery) and a looot of wine too:) The atmosphere with Anna Chiara and the rest of the group felt just like being with friends.
