Ga mee met een lid van de Spaanse Wijnproeverij Vereniging en andere Engelstaligen (voornamelijk koppels) op een tour door de oudste wijk van Madrid. We bezoeken mijn favoriete etablissementen, proeven hun specialiteiten en drinken exclusieve wijnen uit mijn unieke collectie. • Luxe kleine groep (8 max) • Onvergetelijke Spaanse wijnen vindt u niet in een andere tour.

La Latina is de oudste wijk van Madrid. Je kunt nog steeds stukjes van de muur zien die het in de 12e eeuw beschermde. Dit is een tour langs de beste bars, eten en wijnen in La Latina.
Staaf 1: Tour begint te nippen aan mijn favoriete vermout van de tap. We zullen het combineren met Chupadedos olijven. Deze olijven zijn van de verdiale variëteit en zijn gekruid met peper, knoflook, oregano en olijfolie, wat resulteert in een zeer aangename en heerlijke smaak.
Bar 2 : We drinken wijn zoals in de 19e eeuw en proeven Faeröer kabeljauw gebakken in olijfolie.
Staaf 3: Dit is een van de mooiste wijnbars in Madrid. We proeven Altos de Torona Albariño, winnaar van de internationale wijnuitdaging 2022. We koppelen de wijn aan een speciaal soort tapas genaamd “tostas”.
Staaf 4: Het is nu tijd om dieper het oude Madrid in te gaan via de smalle geplaveide straatjes en onze weg te vinden naar het hoogst gewaardeerde restaurant in de buurt. We gaan zitten om 3 Michelinster Iberico Tenderloin te proeven.
Bar 4: Nu is het perfecte moment om te beginnen met de rode. Ik ontkurk verschillende wijnen uit mijn eigen kelder. Ik open uitstekende wijnen zoals Matas Altas of Dominio de Loalva 2018.
Staaf 4: Om de avond af te ronden proeven we de koning van alle Spaanse dessertwijnen: Pedro Ximenez. De wijn zal een wonder verrichten door vanille-ijs te veranderen in rum & rozijnen.

This was a great tour. Andres was very informative, fun, and knowledgeable. We got to go to some places we never would have gone to without the tour. Food and wine was delicious.
What a wonderful experience highlighting the best tapas and wines around Madrid! Andrez was an outstanding guide. He shared a wealth of knowledge about the food, the regions the wines came from, and interesting bits of local history along the way without overwhelming us. The spots were unique, the pairings were spot on, and we left completely full. It felt like exploring the city center with a local friend. Highly recommend doing this on your first few nights in the city!

We could not have been happier with our tour with Andres. The route and itinerary were convenient and well-planned, not only for the tastings but as a way to introduce us to places in Madrid we might not have found and understood on our own. Andres was thoroughly knowledgeable as a long time Madrid local and wine professional. Our group of 7 came to enjoy the collective experience quickly, in great part because Andres was friendly and congenial, and made us feel at ease in what were clearly local non-touristy spots. Next time in Madrid we’ll sign up again, and we’ll recommend the tour without hesitation.

Andres is a great tour guide. He is very knowledgeable about Madrid and the Spanish culture. His food and wine pairings were great. I had never considered Vermouth as a wine but it’s part of the culture of Madrid so it was great to learn about and try.
We enjoyed an excellent evening with Andres! His passion for food, wine and the history of Old Town shines through. He introduced us to delicious tapas and wines that we would not have known to experience. As we walked from place to place I was excited to see what was next. Andres is an excellent guide and host and we highly recommend his tour.
Andres was a great guide. The food selection was delicious and the drinks were paired perfectly and generous pours. Our group was 2 other couples. Walking distance and pace was perfect.
Andres was an entertaining and knowledgeable guide. He selected great food highlights and wine pairings. Walking between the 3 stops he pointed out some highlights. We thought it was funny that he would point out “this is the best place for…but that’s not where we are going “. Overall very enjoyable.
Thank you for the review!! Yes, I mention other places that have fantastic specialites but that we do not visit. Why?, well a few restaurants in the area are not interested in serving tapas. That is, you have to consume a full dinner if you go in :-( making them impossible to visit for tapas tours :-(
Great tour, bars were interesting, food was beautiful and we drank vermouth and wine that we would never have known about. Andres was great company and very knowledgeable. We were so happy to have spent the evening doing this
