Ga op een onvergetelijke reis naar de majestueuze Osorno vulkaan! Reis vanuit Puerto Varas langs de schilderachtige oevers van Lake Llanquihue terwijl u geniet van een adembenemend uitzicht op de besneeuwde vulkanen Osorno en Calbuco. Bij het bereiken van het Ensenada-gebied beginnen we onze klim naar het Osorno Volcano Ski Center, gelegen op 1.240 meter boven zeeniveau. Eenmaal daar heb je vrije tijd om de spectaculaire omgeving te bewonderen, foto's te maken en te genieten van een panoramisch uitzicht op gletsjers, het Llanquihue-meer en, op heldere dagen, de Stille Oceaan. Voor degenen die hun ervaring willen verbeteren, biedt het skicentrum een cafetaria waar u kunt ontspannen met een kopje koffie, evenals optionele stoeltjesliftritten die een nog prachtiger uitzicht op het vulkanische landschap bieden. We beginnen onze excursie vanuit Puerto Varas “de stad van Roses” richting de Osorno-vulkaan, grenzend aan het Llanquihue-meer. We zullen genieten van een prachtige ansichtkaart met de met sneeuw bedekte vulkanen Osorno en Calbuco op de achtergrond, totdat we de Ensenada-sector bereiken.
Vanaf hier beginnen we aan de beklimming totdat we het Osorno Volcano SKI en Mountain Center bereiken, gelegen op 1.240 meter boven zeeniveau. We zullen daar ongeveer een uur blijven, waar er tijd is om van het landschap te genieten, foto's te maken en een ongeëvenaard uitzicht op de top van de vulkanen met hun eeuwige sneeuwgletsjers, Calbuco, Lake Llanquihue en de Stille Oceaan te waarderen.
Optioneel kunnen passagiers zichzelf een kopje koffie of een broodje serveren in de cafetaria van het hotel of de liften nemen om naar 1.450 meter hoogte te stijgen bij het Spring Station of 1.750 meter hoog bij het Glacier Station, vanwaar een prachtig en indrukwekkend uitzicht te zien is. van het Llanquihue-meer.

Trip to Osorno Volcano and Petrohue Falls was very nice, the scenary was incredible had lot of time to explore the Falls and at Osorno and boat ride in the lake though a little too windy Our driver cum guide was knowledgeable and friendly and organised. He was speaking in three different languages. He was good.
We had a great experience on our Osorno Volcano tour. We had plenty of time to take the chair lifts to the Glacier Station. Then our Driver Daimen took us to the Wooden church in Porto Varas. We also toured the Plaza De Armas at Puerto Montt before being dropped at the Fish Market to see sea lions.
Very punctual and pleasant the trip, we visited everything calmly and with very good stories, fair stops and a lunch in Ensenada very homemade and rich.
We drove from Pucon to Puerto Varas on Rita 5. Recommend a detour via Puerto Octay and round the east side of Lake Llanquihue. It’s about 100km to PV but a lot of scenic stops. The best being Puerto Octay for the views and the drive up Orsorno volcano. The road to the volcano is 20km but tarmaced all the way to the chairlift. Views are stunning of the surrounding valleys and mountains. If you can, take a trip on the three lakes crossing to Argentina. The trip takes about 10 hours to Bariloche but can be done over a couple of days. Lots of options. A great way to get to Argentina.

The guide informed a lot about the region and the nature. Very interesting. The tour was a bit more than 4 hours along the lake and then up the volcano. A beautiful landscape. I appreciated that the guide was informing in Spanish and English, although I was the only English speaking
We were picked up at Puerto Montt, went to the beautiful city of Puerto Varas, drove along the panoramic road to the vulcano Osorno. Our guide Joaqiun was very knowledgeable and spoke sufficient English.
Easy access. You go by car on a winding but well preserved road. Upon arrival at the parking lot there are several trails, a cafeteria and also cable car with chairs to climb in 2 more levels. In addition to the wonderful view, there are 2 very interesting viewpoints.
Unfortunately the cable car was closed the day we went up, as it was snowing and very windy. The view is spectacular. But it's very cold!
