Een slagveld doordrenkt van geschiedenis, opstand en rusteloze geesten Osaka Castle is een van de meest dramatische oorlogssites van Japan en precies waarom het werkt als de huiveringwekkende openingsact van je spooktour. Het fort werd eind 1500 gebouwd door Toyotomi Hideyoshi en werd het toneel voor het Beleg van Osaka (1614–1615), een van de bloedigste conflicten uit de samoeraitijd. Folklore zegt dat plaatsen gevormd door plotselinge, gewelddadige dood spirituele energie vangen en Osaka Castle is het schoolvoorbeeld.
Namba is de luidste, helderste speeltuin van Osaka overdag en 's nachts. Comedy theaters, grachten gloeiende met bewegwijzering, winkelen arcades, en eindeloze backstreets maken het gevoel niet te stoppen. Dat is precies waarom het zo goed werkt op een spooktocht. In Japanse folklore worden plaatsen van constante wederopbouw, branden, executies, rivierdoden en uitgaansgebieden verondersteld spirituele resten vast te houden. Namba heeft alle vier in zijn lange geschiedenis als het zuidelijke centrum van Osaka.

This tour was absolutely fantastic. An immersive night of spooky storytelling throughout some of Osaka’s most famous sites. Teri was an incredible host. You could tell she had a love and passion for guiding and showing others the city she loves so much. This felt like storytelling and site seeing with an old friend. She was easily able to answer pretty much every single question we threw at her about landmarks, buildings, shrines, temples, story, etc. Humor in the right spots and a serious tone for some more historical and spooky bits. Incredibly done. Would definitely recommend if you want to learn a bit more about Osaka in a more unique way.
Teri is the best Tour guide with a wonderful soul. We had so much fun yalking and she showef us really cool places with nice photo spots. The stories were also really interesting and scary ngl.😭🙏🏻 Thank you so much Teri🫶🏻
I didn’t know what to expect but I am so beyond happy and I will never forget tonight. I learnt so much! that’s something I really wanted to focus on this trip - I learnt a lot - and a lot that I couldn’t find just googling! I don’t want to give too much away about the spooky aspect to ruin it but that element was perfect as well!!!!!! I’ve never met a tour guide like Teri - she made me feel really comfortable and was so knowledgeable and down to earth! I want to do more tours with her ❤️ Seeing everything at night was perfect 😍
Terry was fantastic during the tour! It felt like we had known each other and were just reconnecting. The stories and folklore she shared during the guide were interesting. But I love hearing about ghost stories and the background / history of historic places. I would definitely book again with her and the company.

Teri entertained US with Stories, History, facts and funny anecdotes while she showed us the Castle grounds, Dotonburi and the "Running man". We had a great timey being able to ASK every Sort of question while learning so much about Yokai, Ghosts, Burialgrounds and japanese history. Teri made sure we were well hydrated and catered the tour to our preferences. From the best viewing-point of the Castle to the tiny street in Dotonburi where history ist preserved or you can find the oldest shrine in the city: we loved every Minute! Thank you for an all-around great time!
Teri was a fantastic guide. She told us a lot of mysterious stories and legends about the castle that made the visit very interesting. The way she explained things kept you engaged the whole time. Highly recommended.
The ghost tour in Osaka was amazing. Teri was awesome. She was fun, engaging, and knew so much history about Osaka and all of the places she took us on the tour. Since we were a smaller group we got to learn a lot about her and the other people in our group as well when we were walking from each destination which made the tour fly by, before I knew it the 3 hours were over and we were saying our goodbyes. If I could book another ghost tour or tour in general while in Japan I would love to have Teri as our tour guide again! If I could give more than five stars ⭐️ I would!!
