Beschrijving
Een boottocht naar het eiland Ortigia en de zeegrotten is de perfecte gelegenheid om de natuurlijke schoonheid en geschiedenis van het eiland te ontdekken en je daardoor te laten betoveren. Onze tour begint bij de Umbertino-brug en gaat richting de haven. Klein van Syracuse (Lo Sbarcadero), gewijd aan onze patroonheilige Sint Lucia. Van daaruit gaan we naar drie natuurlijke zeegrotten. Een daarvan heeft de vorm van een hart. We vervolgen onze weg naar de oostelijke kust van het eiland, waar u het imposante fort in het hart van de oude stad kunt bewonderen: het kasteel van Maniace. We vervolgen de excursie met een bezoek aan belangrijke monumenten zoals de Fonte Aretusa, een zoetwaterbron die uitmondt in de Ionische Zee. Daar krijgt u de gelegenheid om een verfrissende duik te nemen in het kristalheldere water en te genieten van een unieke ervaring. We zullen de rondleiding afronden. terugkomst van Porto Grande La Marina.

We bewonderen het monument voor de gevallen Italianen in Afrika, dat dateert uit het fascistische tijdperk van Benito Mussolini. Het was aanvankelijk bedoeld voor Ethiopië, maar met het uitbreken van de Tweede Wereldoorlog besloot de Italiaanse regering het werk over te plaatsen naar de stad Syracuse. Het monument herdenkt de Italianen die tijdens de oorlog in Ethiopië zijn gesneuveld.
Het fort van Castello Maniace, gezien vanaf de zee vanuit een adembenemend uitzicht, raden we aan om foto's te maken van deze unieke ervaring.
De Aretusa-fontein, een waterpartij op het eiland, vindt zijn oorsprong in een van de vele uitstroompunten van het grondwater, dezelfde aquifer die ook de Ciane-rivier aan de overkant van de haven voedt. De legende van Arethusa en Alpheus, een van de meest fascinerende mythen van Syracuse, is vereeuwigd in de fontein. Hier nemen we een verfrissende duik!

We took a tour of the island with Captain Enzo. Very nice experience, Enzo was super helpful in answering all the questions (especially the children's) always with a smile. A super positive experience from the welcome at reception to the very end. Highly recommended.

Yesterday we took this boat tour as a couple, with other people, with Captain Michelangelo! Very nice, truly, and super competent! He knew how to give us information in both Italian and English, and he had us visit the 3 sea caves, and took us on a boat tour of the island in 1 hour. He even offered us sparkling wine. Highly recommended if you come to Ortigia!!!!

Capitano Enzo was a excellent guide and boatsman, full of local knowledge. A very relaxing tour , especially nice before sunset.

Thanks to Captain Enzo, this was the highlight of our trip to Syracuse. His boat was exceptionally clean and spacious, and well equipped to protect us from the searing sun. The ride was smooth and required considerable skipper skill. But most of all, we enjoyed learning about the local history from Captain Enzo, who gave us a warm welcome and left us with lasting memories. Would recommend unreservedly.

Corrado boat tour is a serious partner and Captain Raul despite the rather rough seas entered the caves without difficulty. During the tour Raul told in French and Italian what we were seeing, the final touch of the prosecco was much appreciated. I highly recommend
