Wij bieden gratis pick-up voor hotels in District 1 (Stadscentrum). Als u buiten dit gebied verblijft, ontmoet ons dan bij het Saigon Opera House (nr. 7 Lam Son Square, District 1). U kunt ook contact met ons opnemen om een privé-ophaling te regelen voor een kleine toeslag.
Voordat we naar de tunnels gaan, bezoeken we een speciale werkplaats waar kunst de mensheid ontmoet. Hier zult u getuige zijn van het ingewikkelde proces van het creëren van traditioneel Vietnamees lakwerk. Wat deze plek bijzonder maakt is dat veel van de bekwame ambachtslieden lokale bewoners met een handicap zijn, waaronder slachtoffers van Agent Orange (een slepend effect van de oorlog). Dag Cu Chi: De "Bevrijde Zone" & Ondergrondse Stad Deel 1 : De bevrijde zone (Life Above Ground) Reis terug naar de jaren 60, te beginnen met een zandtafelbriefing en een levendige 3D-film. Wandel door de "Liberated Zone" om authentieke recreaties van het landelijke leven in oorlogstijd te zien: traditionele rietgedekte huizen, een bruisende markt op het platteland, rustige rijstvelden en een dorpstempel. De ervaring wordt intenser met een dramatische gevechtssimulatie tussen VC en Amerikaanse soldaten, die het podium vormt voor wat eronder ligt. Authentieke Vietnamese lunch : Na de tour stoppen we bij een met de hand geselecteerd lokaal restaurant voor de lunch. Picked up at the hotel instead of at the pick up point as an Extra Service was very nice. Trip to the tunnels was not too long. Small stop at a local workshop for the disabled people due to the Vietnam War. Once arrived had a nice and interesting tour. Micky, our supervisor, was knowledgeable and friendly with sufficient knowledge of the English language. We had booked a group tour but we were the only ones so it became a private tour.

Another great tour by tour guide Luc. A follow on from the informative tour yesterday as we travelled to Cu Chi in comfort in an air conditioned vehicle with bottled water supplied. The timing was great as we dodged some big crowds and gained some good insights into the Vietnam history.

This private tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta was amazing. Our guide was knowledgeable and made the history of the tunnels come alive. The Mekong Delta part was beautiful, with a peaceful boat ride and visits to local villages. Highly recommended for a rich and immersive experience in Vietnam.
