Ervaar Hiroshima met een kleine, hartelijke tour (max 3 gasten) die voelt als een dag doorbrengen met een lokale vriend. We bezoeken Hiroshima's twee UNESCO-locaties - het Peace Memorial Museum en Itsukushima Shrine - met een schema dat op u is afgestemd. Uw Gids : Ik ben afgestudeerd aan de Amerikaanse universiteit en een door de overheid goedgekeurde Gids die meer dan 170 tours heeft geleid. Ik heb ook gasten uit de hele wereld verwelkomd als gastmoeder. Deze tour is door mij ontworpen en begeleid van begin tot eind. Reizen met de auto : Vermijd drukke treinen, langzame trams en de extra kosten van hogesnelheidsboten. Ik pik je overal op in Hiroshima City. Over Cash : Je hoeft je portemonnee niet te pakken om transport- en entreegelden in Japanse yen te betalen. Alle benodigde tourkosten zijn inbegrepen, dus je hoeft alleen genoeg mee te nemen voor je lunch, drankjes en eventuele souvenirs. Mijn doel is simpel: ik wil dat je geniet van Hiroshima. Reisroute
We spreken af op de locatie van uw voorkeur in Hiroshima City. Details worden geregeld via e-mail voor de tour. De volgorde van een bezoek aan Miyajima (Hatsukaichi City) en het centrum van Hiroshima wordt flexibel aangepast op basis van uw schema, het weer en eventuele omstandigheden op de dag.
Na 40–50 minuten rijden parkeren we in de buurt van de veerbootterminal en nemen we een korte veerbootrit van 10 minuten naar Miyajima. Aangezien het eiland zeer beperkte parkeergelegenheid heeft en de wegen niet ideaal zijn voor auto's, steken we niet met de auto naar het eiland over.
Als we naar Itsukushima Shrine lopen, komt de iconische Great Torii gate geleidelijk in beeld. U kunt genieten van het landschap en foto's nemen als we naderen.
Vervolgens verkennen we Itsukushima Shrine, het enige heiligdom van Japan dat over het water is gebouwd. Terwijl we door de elegante gangen lopen, zal uw Gids de geschiedenis en functies van de site uitleggen en kunt u onderweg genieten van het maken van foto's of het kopen van charmes.
Vervolgens bezoeken we de Daishoin Tempel, een van de mooiste en sfeervolste plekken op Miyajima. Het tempelterrein is gevuld met kleurrijke beelden, rustige paden en een prachtig uitzicht. Dit bezoek is optioneel—als je liever meer tijd besteedt aan andere ervaringen, zoals het proberen van lokaal eten, winkelen of langer in het Peace Memorial Museum verblijven, kunnen we het plan gemakkelijk aanpassen aan je interesses.
De winkelen Omotesando is een levendige wijk vol souvenirwinkels, restaurants en tal van heerlijke streetfoodmogelijkheden. Sommige gasten genieten liever van de lokale snacks tijdens het wandelen, terwijl anderen ervoor kiezen om te gaan zitten voor een maaltijd zoals oesters of okonomiyaki in Hiroshima-stijl. Als u de voorkeur geeft aan een restaurantlunch, kunnen we dit op de tourdag bespreken, omdat we het schema mogelijk moeten aanpassen, afhankelijk van uw beschikbare tijd in Hiroshima en het aantal bezoekers van het restaurant.
We nemen de veerboot terug naar het vasteland, waarbij de veerbootrit en rit in totaal ongeveer een uur duren, voordat we in Hiroshima City aankomen. Na het parkeren van de auto in de buurt, begint onze wandeltocht bij het Hiroshima A-bom Hypocentrum.
In de Atomic Bomb Dome zullen we rustig nadenken over de geschiedenis van Hiroshima en de betekenis van deze bezienswaardigheid.
Uw Gids zal de verhalen en betekenis achter de gedenktekens en monumenten delen terwijl we samen door Peace Memorial Park wandelen.
Onze laatste stop is het Peace Memorial Museum, een rustige en reflecterende ruimte waar gesprekken tot een minimum worden beperkt. Aangezien alle tentoonstellingen zowel in het Japans als Engels worden weergegeven, ga je het museum op eigen gelegenheid verkennen nadat ik de QR-code van het ticket dat ik voor je heb gereserveerd bij de ingang heb gescand. Als je liever een audio Gids in een andere taal hebt, kan ik je helpen bij het huren ervan. (Audiogidsen zijn niet inbegrepen in de tourprijs.)
De tour eindigt over het algemeen op de locatie van uw keuze. Als u wilt, kunt u de tour bij het museum beëindigen en op eigen gelegenheid terugkeren naar uw hotel met de taxi of ander vervoer. (Taxitarieven zijn niet inbegrepen in de tourprijs.) Ik zal de route plannen volgens uw voorkeuren, inclusief uw favoriete eindpunt.

De auto die voor deze tour is gebruikt is mijn Mazda Flair Wagon, een unieke Japanse Kei Car. Hoewel compact, heeft het een ruim interieur zoals een gewone vierzitter. Er is voldoende ruimte voor passagiers om comfortabel te zitten, maar de ruimte voor mobiliteitshulpmiddelen of andere grote spullen is beperkt. Controleer hun afmetingen voor de boeking en contact met mij op, zodat ik kan bevestigen of ze kunnen worden geladen. This was the best tour that we took on our trip to Japan! Our tour guide, Tomoyo was amazing and very knowledgeable about the history of Hiroshima. She spent time explaining all the different monuments and even took us up to the temples on Miyajima when we asked. The weather was not the best the day of our tour, but Tomoyo made sure that we still had a great time. She adjusted when we went where to make sure that we had the most enjoyable experience. Also, it was so nice to be taken from location to location in her car instead of need to catch trains during busy times. At the end of the tour she even gave us a paper crane to take home. I’ve taken many private tours and this ranks up there as one of the best. Tomoyo-san was knowledgeable, engaging and thoughtful to tailor the tour to our interests. It was also so helpful to be picked up at our hotel and driven around in her clean and comfortable car. She timed everything so well and took care of all the logistics giving us maximum time to enjoy the sights. Miyajima Island is a must visit spot in Japan - it is not only beautiful with Itsukushima Shrine and its floating torii gate, but also has picturesque shopping streets with amazing food stalls. Tomoyo-san was very flexible and fit in everything we wanted to see even though we stopped at almost every food stall! As we took so long at Miyajima she suggested we do the Peace Museum early the next morning which worked well for us. It was a great suggestion also to avoid the large crowds and she was able to modify our tickets to accommodate this change. On the way back to our hotel she described what we would see and she even made sure to drop us for a few minutes by the Atomic Dome for pictures. It’s wonderful to have such a delightful local guide and I highly recommend this tour with Tomoyo-san.
