Op Maria Magdalena pad : Grot, relieken & Sainte-Baume geheimen

Tijdens deze reis wil ik dat u de authentieke Provence buiten de gebaande paden ontdekt. We beginnen deze dag met een echte reis naar het verleden. Na de dood van Jezus verhuisde Maria Magdalena naar de Provence en bracht haar laatste 33 jaar door in de grot in het Sainte Baume-massief. De plaats is zeer inspirerend. Je wandelt er in je eentje, in je eigen tempo, en je hebt genoeg tijd om te bidden of te mediteren. Dan bied ik je een lokale sandwich & een glas rosé uit mijn dorp. We bereiken Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, een kleine gekleurde Provençaalse stad : vrije tijd om te winkelen, ijsjes, koffie en bezoek aan de Maria Magdalena basiliek waar haar schedel bewaard is gebleven. We eindigen de dag met een rit door de prachtige Sainte Victoire vallei. Als we tijd hebben, kunt u een wandeling maken door de wijngaarden, een klein, authentiek dorpje bezoeken of lokale wijnen proeven. Of u nu een pelgrim bent of gewoon gefascineerd door het ongelooflijke verhaal van Maria Magdalena, ik kijk ernaar uit u te verwelkomen voor deze mystieke dag!

Je wandelt door het mystieke bos tot aan de grot waar Maria Magdalena de laatste 30 jaar heeft gewoond. Prachtig uitzicht op de Provence en zelfs de Alpen! Geweldige sfeer daar..zeer inspirerende plek. Vergeet goede schoenen niet.
Leuk, authentiek Provençaals stadje waar je kunt wandelen, winkelen, lunchen en de zeer oude basiliek kunt bezoeken waar je zelfs de schedel van Maria Magdalena kunt vinden!
Klein authentiek Provençaals dorpje op een heuveltop waar u een wandeling zult maken en waar ik een klein verrassingsbezoek voor u heb in het zeer originele pand. Buiten de gebaande paden natuurlijk :)
Mooie weg over het Sainte Victoire-massief, prachtige landschappen van de wijngaardenvallei omringd door verschillende bergen. Gewoon de authentieke Provence, ver weg van de drukte van het toerisme.

A very special tour through sacred forest and to the grotto of St Mary Magdalene. Tom made this a super day. An awesome friendly guide. And with a lovely tasting of local produce and wine. superb!

Wow! Wow!! Wow!!! If you feel called to see the countryside of Provence, and are curious about the real story of Mary Magdalene then Tom is your guide. He is a conscious and beautiful soul, and can tailor to your spiritual needs and interests. It was a magical day filled with serendipity as we peacefully moved through the mountains, vineyards, and cathedrals to find the places not typically in your tourist guide. Thank you Tom! A truly incredible experience! Our driver Tom was amazing & customized the trip to accommodate our wishes (and the weather)! The hike to the grotto is not an easy one, but the view there and the experience was completely worth the effort. We were never rushed & allowed to take in the sights and truly feel the emotions of the hike at our pace, which was great. If you’re looking for a French experience that is definitely off the beaten path, I highly recommend!

It was a great experience. Tom is really nice and kind. His conversation is good, tells you about the places you'll visit and that makes the drives, very good ones. In my case, I was centered in the experiences of the grotto and St. Maximin's Basilica. We went at my pace, no rushes and made the experience a great one. I'll say mi trip was more on the spiritual side and I felt very comfortable and had Tom's help. It's an experience I'll definitely recommend.

Tom was an amazing tour guide. Although we didn't get to do the full tour, he was so knowledgeable and fun to be with. I really enjoyed our time. I highly recommend him and would not hesitate to book him again one day. :)
