We ontmoeten elkaar in ons bureau, waar u wordt verwelkomd door de erkende professionele gids. Daar begin je met deze geweldige tour.
De marktplaats van Markale was een van de plaatsen waar burgers van Sarajevo zelfs tijdens de oorlog een kans hadden om voorraden te vinden. Daar konden ze voedsel en andere benodigdheden vinden die hen hielpen in de moeilijke tijden dat Sarajevo onder het LANGSTE beleg in de geschiedenis van moderne oorlogen lag. Helaas was deze plek het middelpunt van de twee grootste bloedbaden door het leger van de Republika Srpska.
We gaan door Sniper Alley - de gevaarlijkste straat in Sarajevo waar elke dag sluipschutters schoten. Je zult veel gebouwen uit de Joegoslavische periode zien die nog door de oorlog zijn aangetast. Daar vertelt de gids je verhalen uit die tijd, waardoor je een beter gevoel krijgt bij de gebeurtenissen tijdens de oorlog.
Het stadhuis van Sarajevo is een van de must-see attracties in Sarajevo. Het is het symbool van deze stad, die is herbouwd na de totale schade in de laatste Bosnische oorlog.
Op de terugweg passeren we de meest populaire plek in Sarajevo - de oude stad en Bascarsija.
De tunnel was de enige toegang tot Sarajevo tijdens het vier jaar durende beleg. Het was 800 meter lang en was de enige verbinding van de omsingelde stad met de rest van de wereld. Tegenwoordig doet het dienst als museum.

We did 2 tours with the same guide Mr Armin Komarica which were Morning Walking Tour of Sarajevo’s Old Town as well as Fall of Yugoslavia Tour. Mr Armin was highly personable, professional and knowledgeable about the sites we visited. He also does the food tour too. You can feel his passion of his job and he speaks very good English and his explanation were also highly detailed. At the end of our tours, we were hoping that Mr Armin also can conduct other Bosnian touring activities as we highly enjoyed our time with him. He is highly recommended for those who want to join Meet Bosnia’s tours and you won’t regret.

Wonderfully organized tour, the guide was very good at explaining the story of what happened and allowing you to immerse yourself in the life of those very bad days. Recommended if you want to try to understand what happened.

Amazing and very moving tour, recounting the breakup of Yugoslavia and the horrific siege of Sarajevo. The tour guides we had, Eddie and Amir, were clearly passionate about their country's history, both remote and recent. They included personal stories along with explanations of what happened during the war, that made the history come to life quite vividly. It was a truly unforgettable experience.

Even though the sight is small it offers a good view of what life was like during the civil war in bosnia and what happened in Sarajevo. Reminder of how people have acted against each other. You get the chance to walk in the tunnel.
