Great experience, picked me up from the hotel and dropped me off at the end. I am new to scuba diving and my instructor was amazing and made sure I was safe and had a great time. he also took excellent pictures that they charge 500k dong for. Would definitely do again.
Hightly recommended. Saw plenty of starfish, a huge cuttle fish, a stone fish, some eels. The team is very helpful and punctual. I bought the Discovery Scuba Dive, which is a "try dive" for beginners, but I am certified diver. Upon learning that I am certified, they partnered me with a dive guide and had a separate ddive roup from the "try divers". It was a great experience. Shout out to my dive guide Aloius.
The pick up was on point and the previous communication without any problems, the food was good and my dive instructor Khoa was great!
Great experience with Huy, our dive master. We are 2 certified divers, with our 9 year old daughter and 12 year old nephew who did 2 discovery dives today! We all had a great time, professional staff, good food and nice diving. We especially liked the cavern!

Had an incredible time scuba diving with the team from Vietnam Active. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and professional. They took care of everything from A-Z and the instructor to diver ratio was perfect. The views were scenic and there is even an iconic bicycle in the water. I got to see a wide variety of fish and other aquatic creatures as well. I ended up taking the photography add-on and left with some really amazing pictures and footage as a keepsake. Now I can't wait to go get certified!
Pick up and drop off are smooth and conducted via buses. Instructors on board are friendly and easily approachable, and able to help both experienced and first timers on their scuba diving journey. They even take photos and videos of you in the water (which are really good), which they charge 500k VND for. Lunch, Snacks(Pre-dive) and water is provided as well, which are all of good quality There are some really breathtaking views on the way to the dive sights and much of Vietnams natural beauty can be seen there. The first dive sight is simply to get you acquainted with the water and conditions of the day. Total distance is around 6 meters, which is very safe. Second dive sight goes a little deeper and was easily the more fun of the two, especially for experienced divers. Overall a very worthwhile use of your money
After nearly 20 years, I took the plunge again, guided by the welcoming instructor, Ty. The journey began on a sturdy boat, leading us to two dives. Ty’s friendly guidance eased any nerves, and his expertise made the experience feel seamless. After exploring vibrant marine life, we enjoyed a delicious lunch on board before heading back.
This experience was very well organized, and I appreciate that we had one instructor per one to two people. This arrangement made me feel very safe and well cared for and allowed for everyone to go at their own pace. My instructor was incredibly kind, and he also took amazing photos and videos (for 500k VND). He knew all the best shots, so it’s well worth it—I highly recommend! The boat ride was a bit rocky, but the views were absolutely gorgeous.
My friend and I did two days of scuba diving with Vietnam Active. I am certified and my friend is not but this was totally fine as we had the option to diver together or separately. On day one we dived in Dam Bay and Madonna Rock and on day two we went to Hon Bac Island. Madonna Rock had a really cool cave to explore and there was pretty coral on Hon Bac Island. As a non certified diver, my friend had a one-two-one instructor and felt very safe and had good explanation of the equipment first. Certified divers were a ratio of 1:4. When I had an issue with my buoyancy and regulator, my instructor was very kind and helped sort it and then swam with me for the rest of the dive. On day one we had lunch on a bigger boat which was very nice and day two was provided snacks and drinks on a smaller boat. They also divided us into groups of different languages (Russian, Vietnamese. English) which was helpful. They took some super cool photos for a small price too! I get nervous before I dive, but everyone was super nice. It was a really lovely atmosphere. Would recommend diving with Vietnam Active.
