We beginnen onze reis naar het centrum van de stad Taif om een wandeling te maken over de traditionele markt "Barhat Al Qazzaz Souq", een bezoek aan het stenen huis dat nu is omgevormd tot een café.

We rijden op weg naar een traditionele maaltijdstop bij een van de goede lokale restaurants. De stad Taif, heeft een koel en groen. In de zomer reizen Saoedische mensen en GCC-burgers naar TAIF vanwege de groene natuur en het weer, het prachtige landschap en de ontspannen sfeer van de stad. Onze tour zal ons leiden naar een plezierige rit naar het majestueuze panoramische uitzicht op de berg Al Hada. We passeren een Rose Farm en parfumfabriek. De oude stenen paden, auto's die door de weg van Al Hada rijden, de kabelbaan zien. Van daaruit gaan we terug op weg naar de stad JEDDAH.

Start van de tour: onze tour begint om 09:00 uur, maar de ophaalservice is 30-60 minuten van tevoren *Ophalen: we halen zijn klanten op in de meeste grote hotels in Jeddah. De ophaaltijd varieert van 1 uur tot 30 minuten voor aanvang van de tour op het eindpunt. Wij bevestigen met u een dag eerder op een nauwkeurig tijdstip per e-mail. * Afzetten: na de tour zet ons voertuig de passagiers af in uw hotel in Jeddah

Excellent tour by Khurram. We enjoyed learning about the historical sites of Taif and enjoyed the beautiful views. Had a lovely lunch too. Would recommend!

Lunch was not delicious, the guide was a decent person and could speak English. It wasn't rose season, so it wasn't worth seeing. It was finished an hour earlier than planned. The trip was long and there was not much time for sightseeing, so we stopped at the last cafe with a view, but it was said to be 10 minutes and we could not drink coffee.

Do not waste your time and money with this tour. The guide does not follow the itinerary; I booked this tour to see the town of Taif and principally its Souk. Instead we only spent 1 hour in downtown Taif eating in a restaurant after which we were coaxed to spend 2 hours on a farm in the outskirts of town, viewing a river overflowing with litter and caged animals - clearly the guide and the owner of the farm had a prior business agreement. The drive to Taif is beautiful, but the tour is badly organised: you reach one of the main mountain passes around noon when it is so foggy that you can barely see 10 meters. However, on the return trip, when the view was clear, we didn't stop to enjoy it. Also the stop at the rose distillery was uninteresting and took way too much time. I felt bored and regret I wasted my time on this tour.

The scenery was decent but not something spectacular- I think it depends on when the season is. Maybe in spring when the roses are in bloom and the mountains are green it would be better. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable.
