Bezoek een monument naar keuze: - Pena-paleis - Paleis van Sintra - Park en paleis van Monserrate - Capuchos-klooster | Moors kasteel - De magische tuin van Regaleira
U krijgt dan de gelegenheid om het mysterieuze en romantische stadje Sintra te bezoeken, dat door de UNESCO tot Werelderfgoed is uitgeroepen. Daar kunt u ervoor kiezen om een van de volgende monumenten te bezoeken: - het Pena-paleis, het beste voorbeeld van de romantiekstijl in Portugal; - het Nationaal Paleis van Sintra, een middeleeuwse koninklijke residentie; - het Park en het paleis van Monserrate, een eclectische plek waar u romantische tuinen met exotische soorten kunt verkennen; - het Capuchos-klooster, bekend om zijn extreme onbuigzaamheid van de architecturale en decoratieve elementen; - het Moors-kasteel, een fort gelegen op de top van een heuvel; - het Regaleira Estate, een van de meest magische landschappen die je in Sintra kunt vinden. In beide gevallen wordt u vergezeld door de gids, die uitleg geeft over de sites. Je hebt dan tijd om het centrum van de stad te verkennen en te lunchen. U kunt de gids om aanbevelingen van restaurants vragen. Neem de tijd om een wandeling door de smalle straten van Sintra te maken en proef de heerlijke zoetigheden zoals "queijadas" of "travesseiros".
Lunch staat op een onvergetelijke plek vanwege zijn unieke karakter en prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.
Na de lunch is het tijd om naar de Roca-kaap te gaan, het meest westelijke punt van Continentaal Europa.
Ga dan naar Cascais, het leuke stadje aan zee met een oude visserstraditie. Hier is er tijd om het stadscentrum en de hele baai te bekijken.
Voordat u terugkeert naar Lissabon, neemt u de kans om te rijden door Estoril, dat tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog een toevluchtsoord was.

We have been in Portugal for 2 weeks and Andre was by far the most knowledgeable and professional tour guide during our time in Portugal. He was patient with our questions and was succinct with his answers. He gave us time to explore Cascais and Sintra with recommendations for places to explore and restaurants to have lunch I highly recommend this tour and ask for Andre. You won’t be disappointed!

The tour was well organized, but the guide was more of a driver and less as a guide. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the tour very much. Cabo da Roca and Pena Palace were just amazing.
We booked a day tour with Tripadvisor for the first time. Harald, our guide, was at the hotel on time and looked after us really well throughout the day. He also asked about our individual wishes and made great suggestions for the day tour. Many thanks to Harald for his efforts and the wealth of information about the country and its people.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. The experience was a unique educational experience that was the highlight of our trip. Our guide Pedro was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Portugal and his passion and enthusiasm made the day so much fun.
Sintra is a nice little town. It hosts several castles in the heights that allow a beautiful view of Lisbon. Be careful, to access these different castles, you can do it by car, tourist bus or on foot (in this case, plan good shoes and allow more than an hour to access). To get back down there, also count more than an hour since the village at the bottom of the castles is 3/4km away. If you are going in February, plan on getting warm enough jackets.
Today we went to Sintra and Cascais with Paulo and Tereza and we could not be more comfortable. Great people. Personalized treatment, they took the tour forward although we were only 2 people and always watching our tastes. Very punctual and professional. I recommend it 100%.

It was a great experience! Gonzalo accompanied my parents, my brother and me for almost all day on our visit to Sintra, Castle De la Pena and Cascais (among many more stops not least). He's been great, he's a great guide! Thanks to your company we have learned a lot and did not miss any details during the whole trip. Also, he is very attentive; my father had a little sore leg and was watching his well-being throughout the day. My family and I recommend the experience without hesitation!

We spent a day with Gonçalo as a guide. Everything was super organized, Gonçalo has a lot of detailed knowledge, is humorous and polite. Can only recommend the tour with him 👍🏼
