Lagoa do Fogo is de op een na grootste van het eiland en is het resultaat van een vulkanische ineenstorting die 15.000 jaar geleden plaatsvond.
Uitzichtpunt waar we een buitengewoon uitzicht hebben op Lagoa do Fogo en de uitlopers van de bergen eromheen.
Bezoek aan de fruitplantages met meer dan 150 jaar geschiedenis, de ananas van de Azoren is de koning van alle vruchten. Likeur en Ananas Jam proeverij.
Dit uitzichtpunt biedt een zeer weids uitzicht over de bergen van het Massif van Sete Cidades en de noord- en zuidkant van het eiland.
Deze toeristische attractie integreert het bospark van Mata do Canário, met endemische flora die typisch is voor Macaronesië en een van de meest fascinerende landschappen van het eiland. Lagoa do Canário ligt 800 meter boven de zeespiegel en is vrij eenvoudig te bereiken.
Dit uitkijkpunt biedt een panoramisch uitzicht op de lagune van Sete Cidades.
Met groenachtig water en omgeven door een dennenbos, beslaat deze diepe lagune, in Serra Devassa, een vulkanische krater in het Massif van Sete Cidades en ligt 334 meter boven de zeespiegel.

We highly recommend this company. Jose and his staff were excellent. We had 3 days of tours and then added a 4th day. Personalized service and full of knowledge about the island. We had a fantastic time with no worries of how to get to these places. I would recommend this service over renting a car. We will be back. This island is so beautiful. The Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeiroes was one of our favorites.
It was good and the places we visited were great. The only regret is that your tour promised a Tasting of Pineapple Jams and Liquor, this did not happened. The driver guide is good but at times we felt that we were in a fast moving ride.
It was very fun. No stress day with beautiful views. The guide was knowledgeable and accommodating. There are no language barriers here for Americans. Wonderful day.
I would 100% recommend this company. We did two full day tours. Both were excellent. We did the sete cidades with Nuno, and the Furnas tour with Diogo. Both tour guides were absolutely brilliant. Both were a credit to the company. The tours were informative, but at the same time relaxed. Both tours came with an excellent lunch. A perfectly lovely way to explore the beautiful island.
Full day tour with Furnas & lunch - Great tour! The tour guide arrived on time at our hotel for pickup and the van was super clean. He was prepared for the pouring rain with huge umbrellas . He was well-informed and drove safely on the windy, often narrow roads. He answered all of our questions, was very friendly and showed us a map of our route at the beginning. The tour stops were very good, with a huge traditional lunch included in Furnas, then complimentary tea at the tea plantation. Amazing scenery and excellent information made for a wonderful day!
