Deze tour geeft je een onvergetelijke ervaring van Nederland! Bezoek 5 iconische bestemmingen in 4 verschillende provincies in 1 dag. Bekijk de windmolens van de Zaanse Schans in al zijn ochtendglorie, bewonder de wereldberoemde Afsluitdijk, wandel door Sloten, een van de legendarische "Friese elf steden", stop bij het historische vissersdorp Urk en krijg een gevoel van de midden- eeuwen in de versterkte Hanzestad Elburg. Deze dagtocht heeft het allemaal!

Een van de topattracties van het land. Water, windmolens, houten huizen, hier komt het verleden tot leven!
Deze 32 kilometer lange waterkering is het meest indrukwekkende voorbeeld van Nederlands waterbeheer. Het verbindt de provincies Noord-Holland en Friesland.
Dit pittoreske plaatsje is de kleinste van de “elf steden” van de provincie Friesland. We wandelen langs de gracht met zijn prachtige oude huizen met een verscheidenheid aan typisch Hollandse gevels.
Ook stoppen we bij het gezellige vissersdorp Urk, waar je langs de vuurtoren en de oude kerk aan zee slentert. Deze plaats was vroeger een eiland voordat de kunstmatige provincie Flevoland ontstond.
Last but not least brengen we een bezoek aan Elburg. De vijftiende-eeuwse toegangspoort leidt je naar een middeleeuws stadje waar de tijd heeft stilgestaan. De lijst met monumenten die je hier aantreft is indrukwekkend en zelfs delen van de oude stadsmuur zijn bewaard gebleven.

Simon was awesome! He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He shared so much good information and did it in a fun manner. We would 100% recommend this excursion. We learned so much about the Netherlands, its history and its people and ways of life. Fascinating!
Our tour guide Adrian was fantastic. Really enjoyed learning a lot about the Netherlands reclaiming land from the sea, and all of the different cultures that surround this circular route that we took. Highly recommend.

The Discover the Netherlands tour guided by Simon was excellent and provided more than we expected. We wanted to see the impressive Dutch water management construction projects and the historic towns outside of Amsterdam and were very happy with the results. Simon is an experienced and professional guide who provided a lot of information, happily answered any question, and also knew when to talk with his customers and when to let the experience of seeing impressive water management projects and walking around historic towns sink in. We would happily go on other tours led by Simon.

It’s a relaxing experience, not so much walking but you’ll see the best views and learn the history of each places we visit. Simon is an awesome guide, he didn’t pressure us with the time.

The entire tour from beginning to end was wonderful and informative. Our tour guide, Simon was professional and super nice, the historical info he gave in each providence/town made history come alive. We had fun and had a wonderful lunch.
