Ervaar de wonderen van Wahiba Sands & Wadi Bani Khalid Ga op reis naar het hart van Oman met een bezoek aan Wahiba Sands, een van de meest adembenemende woestijnen van het land. Ontmoet vriendelijke bedoeïenenfamilies, leer over hun unieke manier van leven en geniet van een traditioneel welkom met zelfgemaakte Omaanse koffie en zoete dadels. Voor het bedoeïenenhuis vind je ook kamelen – als je een korte rit op een kameel wilt proberen, is dit beschikbaar voor slechts 3 OMR per persoon, rechtstreeks te betalen aan de lokale bevolking. Vervolg uw avontuur naar de serene oase van Wadi Bani Khalid, een van de meest iconische wadi's van Oman. Een zachte wandeling brengt u naar prachtige smaragdgroene zwembaden, omlijst door dramatische kliffen en weelderige palmbomen - perfect voor een duik of een rustige vakantie midden in de natuur. Houd er rekening mee dat deze tour geen extreme duin bashing omvat. U bent vrij om te kiezen of u eerst Wadi Bani Khalid wilt bezoeken of wilt beginnen met de Wahiba Sands Desert – laat ons gewoon uw voorkeur weten.

Reisroute
Ophalen zal zijn van uw hotel of elke locatie binnen de Muscat gebied. Vanaf daar is het ongeveer 2 uur rijden naar Wadi Bani Khalid.
Vervolgens vervolgen we onze reis naar Wadi Bani Khalid, een van de grootste en mooiste wadi's in Oman. Het totale bezoek, inclusief rijtijd, zal ongeveer 3 uur bedragen. Deze indrukwekkende wadi heeft torenhoge canyonwanden en adembenemende kristalheldere zwembaden, waardoor het een lust voor het oog is. U kunt ontspannen en genieten van een verfrissende duik in het koele zoetwater, zonnebaden bij de zwembaden of gewoon genieten van de serene omgeving. Als je zin hebt in avontuur, kun je dieper in de wadi verkennen of zelfs de verborgen grotten bezoeken. Er is ook een optie om te lunchen in een lokaal Omaans restaurant in de buurt. Opmerking: Als u liever niet zwemt, bent u van harte welkom om te ontspannen bij de eerste zwembaden, waar het water ondiep en gemakkelijk toegankelijk is. Wij raden aan om mee te nemen: Bescherming tegen de zon & een hoed Goede wandelschoenen Badkleding, extra kleding & een handdoek Snacks en water Zwemkleding richtlijnen: Dames worden vriendelijk verzocht om een korte broek (die de knieën bedekt) en een T-shirt te dragen bij het zwemmen in Wadi Bani Khalid.
Na de Wadi Bani Khalid. Zal naar Wahiba zandwoestijn rijden. Bezoek Bedouin Family midden in de woestijn, drink wat koffie en eet dadels met hen. Je kunt ook op een kameel rijden als je wilt rijden, het kost 3 OMR per persoon ongeveer 7 tot 10 minuten, maar je moet zelf betalen rechtstreeks met de bedoeïenen mensen en je kunt een aantal foto's en video's maken. Ze verkopen ook handgemaakte items zoals armband, tas, sleutelhanger en meer. Dan na wahiba zand woestijn rijden terug naar Muscat.
Na een bezoek aan Wadi Bani Khalid en het verkennen van de Wahiba Sands Desert, beginnen we aan onze terugreis naar Muscat. De terugrit duurt ongeveer 2 uur.

Khalid AlRaqadi was a super good guide!! We visited Wadi bani khalid and Wehaba sand together, he told us much about the culture and history and was super open and welcoming! On the way back to Mascat he organized Karak and ormanian bread for us, it was really nice. We had a really great day! I can absolutely recommend this trip!

Our guide Moosa was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We had an amazing time at the Wadi and also the desert. The views of both places were stunning. Our guide also brought us to a local restaurant for some authentic Omani food. Great experience!

We booked this trip pretty last minute, but everything was arranged really well. The private car was clean, comfortable, and had great air con. Moosa, our guide, was super helpful and shared lots of interesting info about the local culture. He also took us to a local restaurant where the food was authentic, delicious, and very reasonably priced. We had a great time overall and really enjoyed the tour.

Our day at Wahiba Sands with Muneer was the absolute highlight of our trip to Oman! He struck the perfect balance between adrenaline, sandboarding (our 1st time experience) well worth it !!! and quad biking (the best ever, compared to other countries), and authentic culture. Visiting the Bedouin house to sample Arabic dates and traditional coffee was such a special touch. Muneer is incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a fascinating, easy-to-follow history lesson that we truly enjoyed. Most importantly, he never rushed us and went above and beyond to keep us comfortable (and well-fed with snacks!). If you want a guide who is kind, professional, and genuinely cares about your experience, Muneer is your man!!! It was a wonderful day full of experiences: visiting an oasis and a Bedouin house, riding camels, swimming in a canyon, and walking in the dunes, followed by watching the sunset in the desert. Overall, the trip was well organized, with clear communication, a comfortable vehicle, and good roads in Oman region. The program is quite fulfilled for one day, and full of emotions and great impressions. We spent memorable day with Ghusun. He is funny but he treated us with so much respect like we were his guests, not tourists visiting Oman. He showed us beautiful Omani landscapes and the highlight of the day trip was the sunset in the Wahiba sand dunes. Ghusun is really skilled at driving in the dunes and we had so much fun dune bashing with him. While driving back to Muscat, we discussed life, religion and future expectations in our lives.
