Olympic National Park staat erom bekend dat er verschillende ecosystemen zijn om te verkennen: subalpiene bossen, bloemenweiden, gematigd regenwoud en de ruige Pacifische kust. Tijdens deze twaalf uur durende rondleiding kunt u elk van deze systemen uitproberen, met als bijkomend voordeel dat u een ervaren gids heeft die eventuele vragen kan beantwoorden. Ontdek de getijdenpoelen langs de kuststranden, dwaal door oud bos, trek over bergruggen met adembenemende vergezichten en sta langs door gletsjers gevormde rivieren en meren. De tour begint met een ontspannen boottocht over de Puget Sound naar het Olympisch Schiereiland. De exacte route wordt samengesteld door de gids, maar onze eerste stop vindt u meestal bij Hurricane Ridge, waar u wandelt naar een ongelooflijk uitzicht op de vallei beneden en de met sneeuw bedekte bergen in de verte. We gaan verder naar Crescent Lake en de seizoensgebonden Sol Duc Valley, en een zandstrand langs de Straat van Juan de Fuca. Plan alstublieft een wandeling van zes mijl.

Hier stoppen we voor eten. De Longhouse deli- full-service deli, souvenirs en alles wat je nodig hebt om te snacken op voor de dag. toiletten.

adembenemend uitzicht op de bergen en de zee. We wandelen hier ongeveer anderhalve kilometer langs een bergkam. een 5-sterrenattractie in het park.

Als getijden- of tijdschema's niet bevorderlijk zijn om te stoppen bij Salt Creek Recreation Area, zal een stop bij Dungeness Spit deze vervangen. Dungeness Spit is ook een geweldig strand en een natuurreservaat. Wandel en geniet.
Een prachtig, door gletsjers uitgehouwen meer dat zo helder is dat je diep in het meer duikt. Hier bevindt zich een lodge in een nationaal park en een leuke plek om te ontspannen als u niet een wandeling maakt naar Marymere Falls en oude bomen. Kajaks en andere boten zijn te huur als u ervoor kiest om niet te wandelen.
Ongewoon kristalhelder meer met paden door oud groeibos naar Marymere Falls.
Optionele parkeerstop. De herfst is waarschijnlijk de tijd om te stoppen. Een zeer mooie waterval, oud bos met gebieden met gematigd regenwoud. Seizoensgebonden Zalm loopt ook, in de herfst. wandelen of als u uw zwemkleding meeneemt, kunt u genieten van warmwaterbronnen.

We gaan terug naar Seattle met de veerboot en na een lange dag zien we vaak de zonsondergang over het water. Seattle steeds groter zien opdoemen is een geweldige manier om de dag af te sluiten. Ze serveren ook bier en Ivars' clam chowder aan boord.

The entire tour was very nice with beautiful views. For the hike at Hurricane Ridge, the scenic views were amazing. I recommend taking a bottle of water, sunscreen and a hat for this hike.

Just did this wonderful tour yesterday and we are headed for Alaska on a cruise today but didn’t want to wait till I got home to just give praises for this amazing tour and company! I had done the Mt Rainer tour last year with this tour operator and it was terrific.. this year was no exception!! Pickup was a minute from our hotel .. and even though it was early because it’s a full day tour we started the day off on time .. a quick text from the operator to verify pickup times and info was sent and I had spoken to them a few days prior … very professional and friendly! Our guide was Kevin and he was a pleasure from the start!! Friendly and personable and so knowledgeable about the area and during our day about all the beautiful things we saw on our tour. We took a ferry to the peninsula and that was enjoyable.. then we drove to several areas of the park and surrounding parts.. they stop at a local store and you are able to buy sandwiches and snacks for the day … they supply water though out the trip .. frequent rest stops for bathroom breaks.. its a long day and we got on at 650am .. returned to our hotel around 8 pm.. but it is so worth it.. Olympic National Park is huge and we didn’t even see all of it .. it was so much better and enjoyable to see the highlights with someone who was knowledgeable and just amazing about guiding us through short hikes and sights… If you are in the area please consider seeing this amazing national park.. and be sure to use this company.. they are wonderful!! And thank you again Kevin for sharing all your knowledge and for giving us an unforgettable experience.. we appreciate your kindness !! ( shout out to Lucus too who was our guide last year!! Kevin showed us a number of beautiful sites on the Olympic Peninsula. The hike to Marymere Falls was a scenic after lunch hike. Lake Crescent was beautiful. Kevin kept us entertained with Sasquatch tales and other Washington state highlights. Loved rock scrambling at Salt Creek SP.

Wow! What a trip! Our tour guide, Kevin from Customized Tours, made this trip fun, informative, and entertaining!!
