Communication with our guide was great. He picked us up when he said he would in a lovely air conditioned car. He was very knowledgeable, spoke great English, and we enjoyed the drive to the turtle camp. The baby turtles were the cutest thing you've ever seen. Totally recommend!
Was so special to see how this process goes and releasing the babies was awesome. So fragile and so small in the meadow world alone. Nice work they do here!! Must really be supported to keep these animals alive. Magical really!!
This was such a special experience and there are so few unique experiences to be had in travelling these days. Our guide was passionate and knowledgeable and we felt we were helping, in a small way, to help the turtles to survive and hopefully thrive.

Communication was great. Picking up at my hotel awesome. Manuel was super nice and easy going. I had tones of fun.

All great! the Exeptional guide, all very friendly and the experience will always remain in my heart... the very beautiful turtles
We were picked up right on time as scheduled. Manuel was an excellent guide who clearly explained how the experience would unfold. Once we arrived at Campamento Tortuguero Palmarito, the team introduced us to the vital conservation work they do, and they took the time to educate us before guiding us through the turtle release process. It was a wonderful learning experience, and watching the baby turtles begin their journey into the ocean was absolutely magical. Highly recommend this tour.
Thank you for your comment, it is a pleasure to have attended and that your experience was satisfactory, our work was good. a huge hug greetings
We had a nice time and our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful as we made our way to the beach. The percentage of little turtles that make it is a bit of a bummer, so just be prepared for that.
The turtle release itself was lovely and the driver did speak English, but the overall experience was mixed. Our pickup was supposed to be at 4:00 pm and the driver didn’t arrive until 5:30 pm. He also pushed the bioluminescent tour as if it were mandatory and an extra cost we had to accept, which we didn’t like. After we declined, his attitude changed, making the ride back to our hotel feel uncomfortable and a bit unsafe.
A really nice experience watching the baby turtles and accompanying them into life. Alison, the biologist has explained a lot and you can tell her love for the turtles:)
Good information regarding sea turtles. Fun to see the babies head to the ocean. If you don’t speak Spanish you need to make sure you have an English speaking guide.
