Wandelen tussen eeuwenoude olijfbomen, volbloedpaarden bewonderen of genieten van een proeverij van extra vierge olijfolie zijn enkele van de ervaringen die u zult waarderen tijdens een bezoek aan Hacienda Guzmán. Ontdek het historische landgoed van waaruit Hernando Columbus, zoon van de ontdekker, olie naar de Nieuwe Wereld exporteerde. Tijdens de rondleiding bezoekt u ook de 17e-eeuwse molen, een getrouwe weergave van het traditionele productieproces, die contrasteert met de huidige innovatie van onze oliemolen. De rondleiding voert u langs unieke plekken zoals de Olivoteca, met meer dan 150 soorten olijfbomen uit 13 landen; het R&D Centrum; de HG-oliemolen; de binnenplaats van de wijnpers met zijn 15 meter hoge mahoniehouten balk; de binnenplaats van het landhuis; de stallen; het rijtuigenmuseum en de Andalusische tuin. De tocht wordt afgesloten met een begeleide proeverij van onze vier EVOO-variëteiten en een speciaal cadeau: een fles olijfolie van Hacienda Guzmán.

Hacienda Guzmán is veel meer dan alleen een productielocatie: het is een wereldleider op het gebied van olijfolietoerisme waar u de evolutie van olijfolie kunt ontdekken, van de oorsprong tot moderne innovatie, in het hart van Andalusië. De geschiedenis van het landgoed gaat meer dan vijf eeuwen terug, toen Hernando Colón, de zoon van Christoffel Columbus, de olie die op het landgoed werd geproduceerd, exporteerde naar de Nieuwe Wereld. Tussen de 16e en de 19e eeuw stonden in de drie torens balkmolens, waardoor het een van de grootste oliefabrieken van die tijd was. Tegenwoordig is in de Hacienda een originele 17e-eeuwse molen te vinden met een 15 meter lange mahoniehouten balk, waar het traditionele proces is nagebootst, in tegenstelling tot de moderne oliemolen waar een van de beste oliën ter wereld wordt geproduceerd. Isaac, the owner and GM of the Basilippo OO estate was a super host. Friendly, patient, and informative about the different types of olives (>300), how they're grown, harvested and processed. Knowing that he gives this tour probably close to 700X per year (just a guess), he made us feel like we were the only ones he ever talked to. Luis our driver was very friendly and did a great job too. A good team! We bought lots of primo OO from Basilippo.
I highly recommend this tour if you are visiting Seville. Alfonzo from Seville Moving was very informative and went above and beyond stopping at an extra stop to show us an old castle. Basilippo olive farm and the owner Isaac was amazing.

It was a very interesting and informative tour. We get to see different methods and taste different oils. Our driver was Mr. Javi he's very nice man and very helpful, he also speaks good English. He also took us to a small village on the way as we were a bit early. It was a nice time spent, will definitely recommend it

Simply amazing! I highly recommend this tour! Isaac and his family are absolutely wonderful. Our driver was so knowledgable as well. He knew so much history in Sevilla as we were driving to the olive oil farm. From the moment we were picked up to the end of the tour, we felt so special. Their attentiveness to us was incredible. The family who owns the olive oil farm is very welcoming and passionate about their work. You can't help but enjoy their company and respect this beautiful place.
