The tour of the Viejo San Juan was incredible. It gave us historical context to truly embrace and understand the beauty and importance of the capital city. Mariana was enthusiastic, intelligent, and incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of Old San Juan. She made every stop interesting and engaging, and the tour was perfectly paced—the length was just right. The complimentary beer came at the perfect time during the walk and each tour stop was well-thought-out. Mariana also went above and beyond by taking countless photos of my boyfriend, me, and our group, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience while still capturing amazing memories. At the end of the tour, she sent over a list of personal recommendations that was incredibly thoughtful, detailed, and helpful for the rest of our stay. If we had been in Puerto Rico longer, we absolutely would have booked another one of her tours. Mariana gave us the most insightful, well prepared and personal experiance of Old San Juan. She is passionate about her heritage and the history of the Island. She majored in Political Science and therefor gave us info that we would not have known otherwise. She also showed us the hidden gems that you won't get on another tour. She was so professional yet made the tour personal. We will never forget the meaning of the different flags that is seen throughout the city. We recommend this tour to everybody.The price of the tour was affordable and included a beer and some sweets. If you ever want to know more about this beautiful island and their story, I will highly recommend this tour. Thanks again for an unforgetable experience.
