Deze tour gaat voornamelijk over het noordelijke deel van Qatar. Het is uniek omdat je hierin de nieuw geïnstalleerde Art van de internationaal befaamde kunstenaar Olafur Eliasson kunt zien. En Unesco erkende werelderfgoed Al-Zubara Fort.

Dit fort uit de 20e eeuw is het jongste en meest opvallende kenmerk van de archeologische vindplaats Al Zubara, die op de werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat. Het fort, dat is opgenomen op de UNESCO Werelderfgoedlijst als erkenning voor zijn behoud en als uniek voorbeeld van een vormende periode.
Al Jumail is een verlaten parel- en vissersdorp dat werd bewoond door de familie Alkubaisi. Opgericht in de 19e eeuw en bewoond tot ver in de twintigste eeuw, begonnen mensen te verhuizen na de economische bloei die werd veroorzaakt door de aardolie- en gasindustrie, waarbij ze de voorkeur gaven aan de grote steden.
Dit is de noordoostelijke punt en het einde van Qatar.

I did the North tour with Mr. Nawaz and he was so kind and knowledgeable. He told me a lot about Qatar, the history, and different places that we drove past. It was a wonderful experience and nice to see outside of the city. I would not hesitate to do another tour!
4/5 1. Nice art in the middle of the desert 2. Parkings available. 3. Perfect time that camels were around when we visited the place. 4. Road from the city towards the destination is very good. Only there will be rough road is when you enter towards the parking. 5. Things to improve- needs to put toilet or refreshments areas because there is high chances visitors might need to use toilet during the visitation. Also during summer months it it very necessary to have access with drinking water near the parking area.
Did not get to see Olafur Eliasson shadows in the desert. Not sure why? Our guide Adil was great but sometimes hard to hear. Enjoyed other sites which we had seen before. Love the millions of shells in courtyard of Zubhara fort.
