Plezier voor het hele gezin - een riviertubingavontuur in Jamaicaanse stijl! Geniet van een mooie rit van ongeveer 30 minuten naar de tubingrivier, waar u een korte veiligheidsbriefing krijgt. Spring dan op je binnenband voor een leuke reis stroomafwaarts. Zweef over milde stroomversnellingen omgeven door groen en ervaar de wilde schoonheid van het eiland zoals de Spanjaarden ooit deden toen ze honderden jaren geleden in Jamaica aankwamen. Uw riviergids zal u vermaken tot het einde van uw reis, waar de rivier uitmondt in de Caribische Zee. Vervolgens wordt u naar Bamboo Beach Club gebracht voor wat plezier in de zon. Ontspan op een gratis strandstoel en geniet van licht entertainment en leuke cocktaildemonstraties. U wordt getrakteerd op een selectie huisdranken, waaronder rumpunch en limonade. Maak een kronkelende reis langs de zachte stroomversnellingen van de Rio Bueno-rivier in comfortabele binnenbanden - een geweldige manier om de natuurlijke schoonheid van de regio te ontdekken! Na een veiligheidsbriefing van je riviergids, loop je over de Irie-brug en langs het junglepad tot je de lanceerplaats bereikt. Dan glijd je in het koele water, nestel je je in je binnenband en baan je je een weg stroomafwaarts. River Tubing was amazing, beautiful, relaxing and fun! Then onto Bamboo Beach - amazing views, great service and delicious food/drinks! 10/10!! Driver was safe, knowledgeable and personable! Would do again tomorrow (if we could) and would definitely recommend to anyone! Bring your water shoes and sunblock!

Horrible experience. The only good part of the day was our driver. We had a schedule pick up from our hotel at 10:30 am, no guide showed up. We waited 15 minutes and someone from a contracted company brought us to the river- the listing says 30 minutes, which was a lie. It was an hour drive. You drive up a dirt path, upon arrival there was NO guide! There was a random person that “checked us in” asked us to pay, even though we already pre paid… he said our guide would be there in 20 minutes. We waited, and waited and my husband asked for an ETA, the guy said yes I have an eta but wouldn’t give us more of a timeline so we left the river rafting. A side note, the river was dark brown. Also the listing says tube down the river into the Caribbean.. that’s a lie. It does not connect. We drove to the Bombay beach club, they didn’t have our reservation. Someone asked 2 different times to take a photo of my ticket. We were the only people there. The chairs and shade are not luxury as described. The staff seemed fine, the food was good and the drinks were fine. However we felt so out of place and uncomfortable we left after 45 minutes. This was a complete waste of our day.
The tubing was fun but only lasted about ten or fifteen minutes. I get times varies due to increased water flow but seriously 15 minutes when it took an hour to get there. Water was brown because it rained or at least that’s what they said. The beach club was a joke. Everything was so disorganized, not enough shady spots to sit. Food was horrible. Beach was underwhelming. It was only a few feet deep and couldn’t go out any farther. The hour transport there and back was not worth it. Also lots of traffic on the way back. Not impressed.
The staff was pleasant. Andre, our guide was very entertaining and informative while keeping us all safe simultaneously!

I'll start with the great! Carlos, our guide and driver, was amazing. Very friendly and we enjoyed his commentary. Highly recommend him as a tour guide. Next, the river guide, Duane was friendly and informative and we felt very safe throughout the whole river run. Crazy how they ride stomach down on their tubes and guide us here and there like that! Bamboo Beach Club was very nice. We had chairs reserved for us )thru the tour) which made it nice to get off the bus and go right to our chairs. The included lunch was good...jerk chicken and yellow ride. Drinks were cold and strong and yummy! Now, getting to all that goodness was not as pleasurable. The chaos at the port led to us not leaving there until after 10:15. After rushing off the ship, there were plenty of people there who worked for Bamboo Beach club, but only a few had any idea what was going on. They took buses and buses of VIP Beach Club people to THEIR buses, while we stood there as there were only 11 of us it seemed they were looking for a smaller bus to take just us (that is how we got the wonderful Carlos...he has his own bus/company that Regae/Bamboo Beach must have contracted to take us) The ride to the river was closer to 50 minutes (only 2 ships docked in Ocho Rios) therefore setting us back even further. Becasue of the delays we had zero time to shop at port when we got back. A 5 hour excursion took 6.5 mostly due to the chaos at the port. I realize they are a secondary excursion vendor and would not be give priority for set up to receive passengers, but a better system of getting off and onto buses needs to be implemented. I will also say, they were the ones in charge of getting even the Carnival excursions onto buses...definitely not efficient like Carnival usually is. The tour, the guides/driver and the river run was amazing and worth it for sure.
Great tubing fun! It was s great laugh and adventure for all the family! Would have skipped bamboo beach club! It was filthy and overrated.
Fantastic day .Picked up prompt at the cruise terminal .Rafting with Andre at river and 4 other cruisers .Fun and safe. Ali and Shan were our guides and hostesses at the beach .They made sure we had great food and free flowing drinks. Beach clean and safe with plenty of beds ,chairs,shade. A fantastic afternoon spent with the Bamboo Beach club team on the river tubing followed by a relaxing stop on the beach. The beach is really lovely, although the beds are all fairly close together and it doesn’t feel as luxury and ‘VIP’ as they claim to be. The free drinks were delicious, and the food was plentiful and all amazing. We have all been dreaming of the jerk chicken spring rolls since we left! The water is nice and warm, even in January. Worth a visit for sure!
