De lichtgevende lagune bij Glistening Waters is een van de 4 natuurlijke bioluminescente baaien ter wereld! De lichtgevende lagune van Jamaica wordt beschouwd als de helderste van allemaal en trekt bezoekers en wetenschappers van over de hele wereld. Wanneer de organismen die in het water leven verstoord zijn, gloeit de Lagoon een prachtig blauw licht en als het regent, staat u een spectaculaire lichtshow te wachten. De onschadelijke micro-organismen leven in deze unieke baai die is gevormd uit het zoete water van de Martha Brae-rivier vermengd met het zoute water van de Caribische Zee. Dit is een ervaring van je leven en je hebt de mogelijkheid om een duik in het water te nemen, te gaan zwemmen of gewoon rond te spetteren. Dineren is ook mogelijk op de locatie als u ervoor kiest om uit eten te gaan.

My flight got delayed 27 hrs, I called 30 hours before excursion to change date. I was told I could not change date and they would be keeping my $490 even though my tickets said as long as I cancelled or changed within 24 hours I would get a full refund. It took me an hour and a half of arguing before I was finally able to change my date with no penalty. The tour guide and driver were amazing, but your customer service agent on phone was ignorant and hostile. She seemed not to understand how to read a clock and understand the difference between 30 hours and 24 hours.
Was v cool to see the blues in the dark river/lake. Must wear shoes and bring towels to dry off Much closer to Montego Bay compared to Ochi Rios. Tons of traffic if coming from Ochi. We’re told 40 mts but took almost 1.45 hours from Ochi. Excursion only was 15/20 mts once got in boat and into water Recommend this experience
