Geniet van gratis Glass - Bottom Boat-tour (afhankelijk van de zeeomstandigheden) en Adventure Drift Snorkel-tours met uw mariene natuuronderzoeker aan boord. Na het inchecken aan boord van het schip, pak je een kopje koffie, een Deens gebak, vers fruit en installeer je je. Na iets meer dan een uur komen we aan bij onze eerste Great Barrier Reef bestemming - de prachtige "Wonder Wall" aan de buitenrand van Upolu rif. Snorkel, SCUBA (extra) deze prachtige Great Barrier Reef site samen met vissen en zeeleven. Ervaar een informatieve gratis Glass Bottom Boat & Adventure Drift Snorkel tour met onze zeer attente gidsen. Na een ochtend vol activiteiten genieten we van een grote heerlijke lunch terwijl we naar Upolu Cay varen. Snorkel deze "koraaltuin" tropische oase - kijk uit voor schildpadden en pijlstaartroggen! Als de omstandigheden het toelaten kun je zelfs landen op deze glinsterende witte koraal Cay! Geniet van zes uur snorkelen, ontspannen tussen deze 2 unieke verschillende riflocaties. Na een magische dag keren we terug naar Cairns met vers fruit, kaas en crackers en cake die rond 16.15 uur weer in Cairns aankomen. Onze zeegidsen zullen u boeien op een rif en het ontdekken van het onderwaterleven tijdens een zeer informatieve en boeiende Adventure Snorkel Tour en Glass Bottom Boat Tour op onze twee unieke Upolu Reef-locaties - "Wonder Wall" aan de Outer Edge Upolu Reef en ons "Aquarium " Coral Garden Reef-site tussen de prachtige ondiepe, azuurblauwe wateren van Upolu Cay Reef. Deze locaties bevinden zich in zeer beschermde zones van Marine Park waar vissen niet is toegestaan, vandaar de overvloed aan vis en zeeleven. Kom en vind je favoriete Hollywood Nemo-personage! Met 6 uur echte ongehaaste riftijd heb je genoeg tijd om beide gratis activiteiten te doen en jezelf verder te verkennen onder begeleiding van onze attente bemanning!
Ocean Freedom reist naar twee Great Barrier Reef-locaties - "Wonder Wall" aan de buitenrand van het Upolu-rif (een werkelijk prachtige snorkel- en duiklocatie) en Upolu Cay Reef - een prachtige ondiepe turquoise koraaltuin. De site van Upolu Cay is werkelijk schitterend - stel je een koraaltuinrif voor met veel kleurrijke rifvissen die in en uit het staghornkoraal schieten terwijl je snorkelt in deze kristalheldere ondiepe wateren rond Upolu Cay. Kijk uit voor schildpadden die naar de oppervlakte komen voor een frisse neus, pijlstaartroggen die gretig de bodem afspeuren naar voedsel. Soms kun je dij diep op de Cay in het midden van de oceaan staan, andere dagen kunnen we landen op deze glinsterende witte prachtige koraalcay - elke dag een klein mysterie van de natuur, maar altijd hebben we de prachtige turquoise wateren om in en rond deze te snorkelen prachtig gebied van het Great Barrier Reef. Zorg ervoor dat je je camera bij de hand hebt voor deze werkelijk pittoreske plek!

- Gasten komen uit vele landen en velen hebben slechts een kleine kans om het rif te bezoeken. Het schip zal onder alle weersomstandigheden opereren (behalve stormkracht en waarschuwingen voor zwaar weer) en heeft extra procedures om de dag zo goed mogelijk te maken. Als u zich zorgen maakt over het weer, bezoek dan www.bom.gov.au cairns kustbericht - het zal u een 4-daagse voorspelling geven.10 - 20 knopen is een normale goede dag. Datum van de reis kan worden gewijzigd onder voorbehoud van beschikbaarheid en ook volledige terugbetaling bij annulering met een minimum van 24 uur van tevoren. Onze schepen zijn open lucht met een goede beweging van de boot, dus minder kans op zeeziekte dan sommige andere gesloten schepen, maar als ze vatbaar zijn voor reisziekte raden we aan om 20 minuten voor het aan boord gaan van het schip reisziektetabletten in te nemen.
- De werking van de Glass-Bottom Boat Tour is afhankelijk van de weersomstandigheden en mag niet op ruwe zee opereren.
- Als u van plan bent om deel te nemen aan het duiken, zullen alle duikers (of het nu gecertificeerde of introducerende duikers zijn) een medische duikvragenlijst aan boord moeten invullen. Als duiken een belangrijke optie voor je is, informeer dan als je medische problemen hebt (in het verleden of heden) of medicijnen neemt, zodat we kunnen adviseren of een QLD-duikmedische verklaring vereist is voor de dag van reis . Sommige medische aandoeningen en medicatie kunnen je beletten om te duiken. Voor uw veiligheid is het noodzakelijk dat u de vragen op het formulier naar waarheid beantwoordt.

We are so glad we chose the right operator to do our snorkelling in the reef as there are so many operators in Cairns offer diving and snkkelling tour. The whole crews are very friendly and professional, genuinly concerned our safety. The experience is superb. They took us to two very nice reef. We saw heaps, turtles, colourful reef, fishes, giant clams and they guilded us to snorkel site, provide commentary and ensure our safety. They fed us so well, seafood buffet, plentiful of prawns, hams, chickens and salads. There was morning tea and afternoon tea with cheese and crackers, fresh fruit and 3 different types of cakes. Ocean Freedom is one of very few family owned operators in Cairns. They delivered in quality and professionalism. We had a wonderful day with Ocean Freedom in the reef.
Great and supportive crew. Also recommended for people that don’t feel too comfortable swimming in the ocean. Wonderful snorkelling in rather harsh conditions. Always felt safe!
We had an excellent time. The staff is really great: smiling, very careful with everyone, paying special attention to those who need any help. We had plenty of time for snorkeling and admire the reef and the beautiful fauna. If there were to be only a minus, the boat feeled a little overpacked. But to be honest it did not really affect our experience.

If its your first time doing snorkelling/ scuba diving, look no further! OceanFreedom has been the sweet supporting crew who made my first ever dive and snorkelling experience unforgettable! A small crew with about 30 people per boat, they take care of you well throughout. Loved the experince and would recommend them over and over again!

Excellent friendly staff, very accommodating (they gave 1:1 snorkeling tour to my daughter who was afraid of the water), lots of staff members to help, everything was seemless and the snorkeling spots were really good. The boat was clean and lots of seating space.

I booked this tour for my husband & son who wanted to SCUBA for this excursion. They had gone on another vessel the day before for SCUBA and they thought Ocean Freedom was by far a better experience. Larger more comfortable boat, shorter boat ride, and scuba staff that let them explore more. They were worried about being on a bigger boat and having it be crowded with people but there was plenty of room to spread out.

✨ A day we are not about to forget… 🐠🐢🐋 Today, we created one of our best memories of this world tour: discovering the Great Barrier Reef. 💙 As often, we had booked this excursion via Booking, with the company Ocean Freedom… and honestly, we can only recommend it to you. We had chosen their catamaran and, at the start, we had a little apprehension regarding the size of the boat. Finally, the sailing was very pleasant and everything was thought out so that everyone would have an excellent day. What impressed us the most? The team. ❤️ With children, they were incredibly kind: always available, smiling, attentive… A real favorite. As for the meal, it was also perfect: breakfast at boarding, snacks, hearty lunch, fruit, cheese, cakes… Impossible to be hungry! The most powerful moment will undoubtedly remain my very first scuba dive. 🤿 I was lucky to be accompanied by Paul, a French instructor who immediately put me at ease. Doing your first dive on the Great Barrier Reef… it is simply magical. ✨ The sea was calm, we observed turtles, thousands of multicolored fish… and even whales in the distance! 🐋 The girls, for their part, were like little fish in water. They also loved the glass-bottom boat trip and the explanations on the protection of this exceptional environment. A real awareness, fun and exciting. A detail that particularly touched us: at one point, the sea got a bit rough and, knowing that I wasn't completely comfortable, the captain asked a member of his team to stay with us to ensure our safety. This kind of attention makes all the difference. In short... if you are passing through Cairns, go for it with Ocean Freedom. With children, it is really reassuring: they take their time, they observe, they accompany you, and you feel that safety is their priority without ever taking away from the pleasure of the experience. Incredible attention toward the passengers. The organization is excellent from start to finish, the boat is very pleasant, and the food is really very good and abundant: breakfast, snacks, lunch, fruit, cheese, cakes... We didn't lack anything! We saw turtles, a huge number of fish, and even whales. The children also loved the glass-bottom boat and the team's explanations about the Great Barrier Reef and its preservation. Absolutely fantastic day out with the best crew on a cracker of a boat. Quality snorkelling gear and wetsuits to use for the day. Honestly we were all fed very well with great lunch, cake, fruit and cheese and crackers. The day out had 2 stops with plenty of time to enjoy the water and the reef and a tour on a glass bottomed boat which was fabulous. I recommend highly. Just do it!

I recently had time in Cairns and took several trips to the reef. This was the standout best trip. Ocean Freedom doesn't have the facilities of the pontoon owning companies but they have the best crew - knowledgeable, friendly, so helpful. Everything is made easy - some other trips there were assumptions that visitors knew what to do, knew where everything was etc. Ocean Freedom's crew make sure everyone can get the most from their day. They have two fantastic sites for seeing the coral. The drift snorkel tour with one of the crew was brilliant. I enjoyed this day so much that I cancelled what I had planned the following day to go out with Ocean Freedom again.
