Met slechts maximaal 25 passagiers maakt dit onze Great Barrier Reef & Green Island tour zeer gastgericht!In feite zijn wij de enige zeil, rif en tropische eiland ervaring in Cairns catering voor zo'n laag aantal gasten. Zwem, snorkel of duik recht van de boot op een exclusieve prachtige GBR-site - geen drukte. De boot is afgemeerd op slechts 1 km van Green Island - een zeer beschermde Marine Park zone. Vaar vanuit Cairns in stijl naar deze rifsite en Green Island op een tweemastschoener en geniet van een heerlijke lunchbuffet aan boord. Na het snorkelen van de boot neemt u een tendertransfer om de schoonheid van Green Island te verkennen, het regenwoud te zien of te luieren op de witte zandstranden.

Zeilen, snorkelen, duiken (optioneel extra) - rif en strand allemaal op één dag met slechts een kleine groep van maximaal 25 gasten - puur geluk!
Bewonder de schoonheid van het Great Barrier Reef tijdens deze zeer persoonlijke dagtour .Ocean Free vaart naar het exclusieve Great Barrier Reef dat op slechts 1 km van Green Island ligt. Stap recht van de boot en zie een koraaltuin vol kleurrijke rifvissen en zeeleven in deze zeer beschermde Marine Park-zone van het Great Barrier Reef. Alleen onze gasten snorkelen op deze site waardoor het een zeer persoonlijke ervaring is! Schildpadden en grote scholen vissen een gemeenschappelijke plaats onder de koraal "bommies" (uitlopers) die zich vormen ongeveer 10-12M tot iets minder dan 1M onder het oppervlak waardoor het een ideaal gebied is om te snorkelen Breng de ochtend snorkelen & / of SCUBA duiken (optioneel extra) over een ongelooflijk rif systeem en bekijk de meest unieke en kleurrijke onderwaterleven onder begeleiding van onze zeer attente bemanning. Stap daarna terug aan boord van uw schip voor een heerlijke grote smorgasbordlunch waarna u in de tender kunt stappen terwijl de schipper u meeneemt naar Green Island beach - uw 2e site om te verkennen!
Gasten kunnen dit eiland bezoeken als onderdeel van hun Ocean Free Green Island & Great Barrier Reef zeiltocht met slechts maximaal 25 gasten. Ze hebben de keuze om de rest van de middag op het eiland door te brengen tot de laatste pick-up of na een uur terug te keren naar het hoofdschip, als ze liever meer snorkelen. Ocean Free meert eigenlijk af op een exclusief privérif op 1 km van het eiland, waar gasten hun tijd kunnen verdelen tussen snorkelen en duiken (optioneel extra) net buiten de boot op deze exclusieve Great Barrier Reef-site en naar het eiland gaan in de tender om te verkennen of gewoon ontspannen op het tropische strand. Gasten hebben 4 en 1/2 uur om het rif en het eiland te ervaren. Typisch onze gasten kozen ervoor om 1-2 uur door te brengen op het eiland. Op het eiland kunnen gasten genieten van een interpretatieve wandeling over het eiland , ontspannen op het strand en Marineland Melanesië bezoeken (kleine vergoeding om hier binnen te komen)
Marineland Melanesia is een optionele ervaring bij een bezoek aan Green Island. Tegen een kleine vergoeding kun je deze attractie betreden om krokodillen, schildpadden, artefacten en feiten uit de hele regio te zien
Kies ervoor om een uur op het eiland door te brengen en terug te keren naar het hoofdschip voor meer snorkelen of optionele duiken op deze exclusieve Green Marine Park-zone van het Great Barrier Reef

- Opties voor openbaar vervoer zijn in de buurt aanwezig

- Maximaal 25 personen zorgen voor een unieke en persoonlijke ervaring
- Let op: alle DIVERS moeten voorafgaand aan het duiken een medische vragenlijst aan boord invullen. Boek de duikopties alleen als u geen medische aandoeningen heeft en geen medicijnen gebruikt, aangezien sommige aandoeningen/medicijnen u ervan weerhouden te duiken
- Tour vereist dat je stabiel en mobiel genoeg bent om rond een bewegend schip te bewegen en van hoofdschip over te gaan op zacht en terug
- Gasten komen uit vele landen en velen hebben slechts een kleine kans om het rif te bezoeken. Het schip zal onder alle weersomstandigheden opereren (afgezien van stormkracht en waarschuwingen voor zwaar weer) en beschikt over extra procedures om de dag zo goed mogelijk te laten verlopen. Als u zich zorgen maakt over het weer, ga dan naar www.bom.gov.au Cairns Coast Report - hier vindt u een voorspelling voor 4 dagen. 10-20 knopen is een normale goede dag. De reisdatum kan worden gewijzigd op basis van beschikbaarheid en ook volledige restitutie bij annulering met een opzegtermijn van minimaal 24 uur. Onze schepen varen in de open lucht met goede bootbewegingen, dus minder kans op zeeziekte dan sommige andere gesloten schepen. Als u echter gevoelig bent voor reisziekte, raden wij u aan 20 minuten voordat u aan boord gaat van het schip reisziektetabletten in te nemen.
- Als ze van plan zijn deel te nemen aan het duiken, moeten alle duikers (gebrevetteerd of beginnend duiker) aan boord een duikmedische vragenlijst invullen. Als duiken een belangrijke optie voor u is, geef ons dan door of u medische problemen heeft (vroeger of nu) of dat u medicijnen gebruikt, zodat we u kunnen adviseren of een medische duikverklaring voor QLD vereist is. Sommige medische aandoeningen en medicijnen kunnen ervoor zorgen dat u niet kunt duiken. Voor uw veiligheid is het absoluut noodzakelijk dat u de vragen op het formulier naar waarheid beantwoordt.

This was such an experience and the crew were amazing and very patient considering this was our first time snorkelling and we were a little anxious doing this in the open sea. The guide stayed with us the whole while in the water and made sure we saw as much as possible. The lunch and snacks were also great. It was such a wonderful day. Totally recommended.
What a wonderful experience this was! The staff were friendly, patient and informative. We were giving lots of great food and the boat ride was enjoyable. We had an amazing day weather wise which made the experience even better. I really enjoyed the snorkelling and having smaller numbers of passengers on the tour. Thank you for making this one of my families favourite days ever.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unforgettable Great Barrier Reef Sailing & Snorkeling Adventure! We joined Ocean Free for a day out on the reef, and it was absolutely brilliant from start to finish! 🛥️ Even with swells hitting over 10 foot, the trip was so much fun and added a real sense of adventure to the day. Snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef was beyond anything we imagined – the fish were absolutely stunning, in every bright colour you could think of, and we even got to see gentle baby sharks swimming peacefully nearby – such a special highlight! 🐠🦈 The crew were honestly amazing: so friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and looked after us perfectly the whole time. The food served on board was delicious too – fresh, tasty and just what we needed after being in the water. What a fantastic day out! We left with amazing memories we’ll cherish forever. The team were great. Met some lovely people. The fact it’s a smaller group made it more memorable. Snorkelling in your own area, trip to green island and lots learnt. Came back under sail as well. Really glad we chose this trip.

Crew was great! And the day was awesome. The ocean wasn’t smooth but they took good care of us and we saw plenty of sea life. Very accommodating of various passengers’ sea sickness— they brought anti-nausea meds enough for everyone.

Had an incredible trip on Ocean Free out to Green Island. Everything about it was excellent, the boat, food and equipment were perfect. The best thing was the crew, Ryan, Reece and Tom were so friendly, knowledgeable and patient. They are a credit to a very well run operation.

The boat is very beautiful and well-equipped. The price difference compared to Ocean Freedom is certainly justified, and in our case, we would definitely make the same choice again. Brian, the skipper, and his crew were very welcoming, professional, and friendly. Snorkeling was wonderful, and during the summer, it must be even more spectacular. Good and abundant is also the food offered throughout the day. I saw even the least inclined people being carefully attended to. I would do it again 100 times!

This trip couldn’t have been more delightful. The crew were adept at sailing and snorkeling/diving. Very knowledgeable about the Reef. Truly seemed to enjoy getting to know each of us. We used the company when visiting Cairns in 2019 and had a great experience with an assisted scuba dive on that trip so I knew we wanted to use them again. This time we opted to snorkel only but it was another amazing experience from start to finish! The crew members are all so friendly and knowledgeable and the food served throughout the day exceeded our expectations. So many fresh fruits, veggies and breads as well as a variety of proteins. Having the opportunity to sail while also visiting the reef and green island was just what I was looking for. The day was perfect!!
