Onze wandeltocht is iets waar het hele gezin van zal genieten. Je wordt vermaakt terwijl een gids je door het centrum van Manteo leidt en je de spookachtige verhalen vertelt die de Outer Banks tot een van de meest spookachtige stranden in de Verenigde Staten maken. Enkele van de verhalen die je hoort zijn; de Lost Colony, Blackbeard, de Cora Tree en nog veel meer. Onze tour biedt gasten ook de kans om een EMF-detector te gebruiken. EMF-detectoren worden vaak gebruikt in paranormale onderzoekende televisieshows. Je zult de tijd van je hiernamaals hebben bij OBX Ghost Tours.

Luister naar de geschiedenis en spookverhalen van het historische Pioneer Theatre in Downtown Manteo. Andy Griffith hing zijn eigen merk voor een vertoning van zijn film A Face in the Crowd. Hoor verhalen over spookachtige activiteit van dit historische theater en maak kans op concessies.
We zullen wat tijd doorbrengen aan het dok van de vuurtoren van Roanoke Marshes om de Legend of Theodosia Burr en het Graveyard of the Atlantic te bespreken.
We zullen langs de Elizabethaanse II lopen, een replicaschip vergelijkbaar met dat waar de Lost Colony of Roanoke op reisde toen ze naar de nieuwe wereld kwamen.
Vanaf de vuurtoren van Roanoke Marshes krijgen gasten een prachtig uitzicht op de Roanoke Island Inn. We zullen de geschiedenis en de legende bespreken van Roscoe Jones, voormalig postmeester van Manteo die naar verluidt de prachtige herberg rondwaart.

Guide Stacey was very knowledgeable of local history and a good storyteller
Very cool/unique experience to learn history of not just the area we were in, but all of outer banks. Stacey was a great story teller and had lots of personal experiences that made it even better. Not a huge walk around the town but very cool to hear all of the history and about the lighthouses, etc.
Stacey was fun she made it a cool tour
We took the Outer Banks ghost tour in Manteo, and our wonderful guide was Stacey. She told us that her background includes both theater and paranormal credentials, and she used both in telling us eerie historical stories mixed in with her personal ghostly encounters. The nighttime walk along the Manteo waterfront was a beautiful backdrop to the spooky stories.
BJ was an excellent tour guide. She was very engaging. A great tour for a family with teenagers.

Stacy was a great fun and knowledgeable guide. It was great to hear the stories about the local past. And her personal experiences were super cool as well. They were all very nice to allow our 8 year old to handle the ghost detective device the most keeping him interested as all of the adults got to hear about the neat history. She even told us about some other cool places to check out while in town
