Oahu Sunset Paardrijtocht op de North Shore
Beschrijving
Bij zonsondergang wordt de noordkust van Oahu magisch, met kleurrijke luchten en golvende wolken waardoor je het gevoel hebt in een schilderij te zijn gestapt. Deze speciale tijd verandert in een onvergetelijke ervaring wanneer je het te paard meemaakt, reist door rustige bossen en prachtige bergpaden. Dat wil niet zeggen dat bij zonsondergang alles afkoelt en alle vogels beginnen te zingen. Vertrouw ons, het is de beste tijd van de dag om te rijden. Onderweg ziet u grazende runderen, inheemse fruitbomen en zelfs wilde varkens. Je hebt ook sneak gluurders van de oceaan beneden, die naar het beste deel leiden - een opwindend panoramisch uitzicht vanaf onze schilderachtige uitkijkpost. Je herinnert het je nog jaren.

We are very happy with our experience and sunset ride. It was everything we had hoped for and we picked a perfect evening for it. The horses are happy and healthy & we thoroughly enjoyed the staff. They were helpful and made the experience very enjoyable. We were very happy to see how beautiful the ranch is and he got some amazing pictures along the way. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a unique experience in Hawaii to try this out. It is well worth it.
It was a beautiful tour, even though it rained we got some amazing views of the sunset. The horses and tour guides were excellent.
It was such a beautiful ride. The horses were so well behaved and the ladies were very knowledgeable, aware, and caring. Amazing place! I will be visiting again someday ❤️

While visiting Oahu, my daughter wanted to ride some horses with me and my granddaughter. She booked the Sunset Ride with the Gunstock Ranch. Our Wranglers, Hailey and Ocean, were top notch, super friendly and very professional. They selected our individual horses based on our level of experience with horses and our size and weight. The views were phenomenal! The history of the area, ranch and the details of our horses was interesting and engaging. The whole experience was very enjoyable and I highly recommend the Ranch as well as our Wranglers, especially Hailey! Thank you for sharing this experience with our three generations!

Beautiful scenery! Fabulous guide! Saddle squeaked very loud! Apparently, they don’t clean the tack.
As an experienced horse rider, of course I had to do a horse riding trip on my holiday! While it was the most expensive one, I chose it because of the best reviews. I love a good trail ride, even just at a walk level. The ranch was awesome and everyone was so lovely, you could even enjoy a small animal petting area while waiting for your ride. Summer was the lovely girl leading the ride and we enjoyed some great conversations throughout the whole ride (the rest of the crew was just as lovely but I missed their names!), she made sure to engage with everyone at the front of the ride and told us allll about the horses (Buckles, my ride, was so cute!). We even saw cattle, mongoose, and a family of boars. Fantastic crew and horses aside, I am giving it 3 stars for a few reasons: (1) The staff will offer to take photos for you at the viewpoint but they will just be regular iPhone photos that you have to pay for. I thought this was baffling; I've never had to pay for regular smartphone photos before. You would think if they charge money for photos, it would be using an actual - professional - camera. How bizarre. (2) It's advertised as a sunset ride but it could be timed better. The sunset was behind us by the time we approached the end of the ride so we couldn't really experience that aspect. You'd think a sunset ride happens during actual sunset. (3) This was the most expensive experience I did in Hawaii out of many different activities I booked, and with the previous reasons in mind, I'm not sure I'd pay that much again.
