Heb je ooit gedacht dat je op exact dezelfde weg zou rijden die Amelia Earhart in 1935 als haar landingsbaan gebruikte? Nou, dat is onze EERSTE stop! Diamondhead Lookout is een geweldige locatie met een panoramisch uitzicht op de zuidelijke oever van Oahu en Waikiki!
Soms is het goed om te dromen en dagdromen is wat de meesten van ons zullen doen als we langs de luxueuze wijk Kahala komen waar elk jaar de Sony Open wordt gespeeld. De landgoederen hier zullen de meesten van ons ertoe brengen onze levenskeuzes te heroverwegen.
Halona blaasgat. Halona betekent "van gelukkig fortuin", dit geweldige gezicht is een van de slechts drie in de wereld! En wat een geluk hebben we om het U te kunnen laten zien!
Cruzen naar Makapu'u Lookout, we passeren het meest gewilde bodysurfstrand van het eiland, zelfs door presidenten; Zandstrand! Laat je niet misleiden door de kleinere golven, dat water is kemphaan!
Sommigen noemen deze plaats "De Draak". Deze kliffen waarop De Draak lag, zullen de kaak van ontzag losmaken! Ik weet zeker dat je gids je graag uitlegt! Nou, LAAT je zien waarom! Het is een geweldige site! Helaas is deze plaats gesloten voor bedrijfsvoertuigen. Je kunt The Dragon echter nog steeds zien!
De Nuʻuanu Pali Lookout ligt in het Koʻolau-gebergte en biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de bovenwindse kust van Oʻahu, weelderige valleien en de baai van Kāneʻohe. Deze historische plek is ook waar koning Kamehameha I een cruciale slag won die hielp de Hawaïaanse eilanden te verenigen.
Heb je al honger? Nou, dat zal je zijn. En wat is een betere plek om te lunchen dan de Fumis-garnalenwagen van North Shores! Deze royaal bemeten garnalen hebben een smaak waar je zo naar huis kunt bellen. Als je geen garnaleneter bent, is het helemaal oké; er zijn andere opties. Inclusief een zeer uitnodigende Vegetarische noedelplaat waarmee je de volgende dag misschien naar de noordkust rijdt voor meer!
Laten we nu die zwemkleding aandoen! Als je niet wilt zwemmen of snorkelen is dat helemaal prima; er is voldoende schaduw om je uit te rekken, te ontspannen en dat favoriete boek te lezen! Vergeet niet; de snorkelspullen zijn GRATIS te huur!
Klip wandelen iemand? het is natuurlijk helemaal aan jou; je kunt altijd aan de veilige kant van de reling blijven en toch een geweldig uitzicht te zien krijgen. De verbazingwekkende kliffen van Makapu'u Lookouts zijn een lust voor het oog. Niet alleen omdat het in het Hawaïaans 'uitpuilend oog' betekent.
De allereerste plaats waar een buitenlander op Hawaï landde, was hier in de 18e eeuw! Dat waren Capitan Cook en zijn bemanning. Waimea Bay is meer dan majestueus. Van de prachtige, door het regenwoud gekuste kliffen die het omringen tot de trotse uitstekende rots in het midden. Je zult niets dan schoonheid zien.
De oorspronkelijke Hawaiiaanse naam voor deze plaats is Paumalū. Sunset Beach staat bekend om het surfen op grote golven tijdens het winterseizoen en ik bedoel GROOT. Houd je ogen open, misschien zie je wat surfers op de toppen van de golven!
Laten we terug in de tijd reizen naar de jaren 1800. Terug naar een kleine plaats die nu Historic Haleiwa Town heet. Matsumoto's Shave Ice is niet het enige coole aan deze plek! Gewoon afwachten!
Je laatste locatie is op zijn zachtst gezegd lief; The Dole Plantation. Thuisbasis van de wereldberoemde, oh ja, DOLE WHIP. Vraag je Gids hoe je een GRATIS kan winnen!
Eten en strand staan meestal gelijk aan een lang dutje, maar nu nog niet! We gaan naar de North Shore Macadamia Nut Farm! En ja, er zijn GRATIS samples van zowel macadamianoten ALS koffie!

Ophaallocaties en -tijden
Hallo! Houd er rekening mee dat we alleen ophalen in Waikiki en Ala Moana Area. we doen GEEN pick-ups buiten het Waikiki / Ala Moana-gebied. We halen NIET op bij het luchthavenhotel of het Ko'olina-gebied. Voer uw locatie correct in en zolang uw hotel in de regio Waikiki / Ala Moana ligt, kunnen wij u ophalen. Als u kaartjes koopt en uw locatie buiten het Waikiki / Ala Moana-gebied ligt, moet u een weg naar een Waikiki-hotel vinden. Het ophalen begint om 7.00 uur. Als u naar Waikiki rijdt, kunt u ons een e-mail sturen zodat wij u naar een plek kunnen begeleiden waar u gratis kunt parkeren. Houd er rekening mee dat er snorkel-/zwemtijd wordt toegewezen bij de strandstop North Shore. Tot snel!

had an amazing experience thanks to our tour guide. Their deep knowledge of the area, attention to detail, and friendly personality made the tour both educational and enjoyable. First time visit Oahu and decided to take a Island tour for getting to many worthy sceneries as possible. Family has interested in snorkeling and byoto-in temple. But Kona Lows storm brought in heavy rain the week before we arrived so the ocean was really murky and we could not do the snorkeling on that day, byoto-in temple also was replaced with Pali lookout due to road closed and repair. Otherwise, It was fun filled with entertainment in the tour Van. Our guide Tyrone has the attention of all tourists and sang along in the Van after lunch. He has done terrific job on guiding us and providing support in-and-out of the Van due to many stops thru the tour. He also presented the notable sceneries briefing on the history and background. If it were able to visit all the original listed itinerary, then it would be FIVE stars.
The tour was good, Nikki was a great tour guide. However, the weather was terrible, blocked roads due to washouts and fallen trees, the Kona storm was at peak. Because of this, many places were closed and no other options were available. Obviously no one’s fault, however, in my opinion, I would have thought that the tour company would have deferred the tour to a different day, and for the people leaving soon after, a refund. Travellers, be aware of the weather before booking.

The experience at the temple was serene. The macadamia nut farm was tasty. And the dole pineapple farm was tasty. The dole whip is heaven!

We had the pleasure of being greater at taken around by Nikki. She was timely, attentive added all the extras to make your moments memorable. We had us (2) and 6 others so fairly small group but got to see it all!!! First time getting to the island and the 2nd day was when we and , it was perfect and my favorite of the 5 total tour days Oahu Circle Island Tour – Relaxed Explorer Edition 🌺🚐 Saturday we made it all the way around the island on an amazing Circle Island Tour, and it was EVERYTHING — views, history, beaches, food, and the perfect calm energy. Here’s our adventure at a glance: • Diamond Head State Monument ⛰️ Started the morning where Amelia Earhart once used the same stretch as a runway, with stunning panoramic views of Waikīkī and the southern shore. • Kahala 🌴 Drove through the luxurious estates of Kahala , total dream-home territory! • Halona Blowhole 🌊 Saw one of only three blowholes like this in the world. So cool up close! • Sandy Beach Park 🏖️ Passed by the famous bodysurfing beach loved by locals (and even past presidents!). • Hanauma Bay Lookout 🐉 Caught the lookout views of “The Dragon” — the cliffs really do look like one! • Byodo-In Temple 🕊️ Peaceful, stunning, and full of calm energy. Black swans, koi ponds… truly serene. • North Shore –Tanaka Shrimp 🍤 Lunch time! Enjoyed the famous North Shore shrimp and rice. • North Shore Relaxed on the beach while tide to high to snorkel but the perfect chill stop at Hale’iwa Harbor • Waimea Bay 🌺 Majestic cliffs, turquoise water, and beautiful history. • Sunset Beach 🌅 Famous big-wave surf spot kept our eyes open for surfers riding giants- waves were massive and tides were high. • Haleiwa Town 🏘️ Historic charm and fun shops plus tried iconic shave ice. • Dole Plantation 🍍 A sweet stop with all the pineapple goodness.- the dole whip was amazing !! • North Shore Macadamia Nut Company 🌰☕ Wrapped up with free macadamia nut and coffee samples, I of course didn’t try any.
