(Diamond Head Lookout, geen krater) Diamond Head is een vulkanische krater en werd meer dan 300.000 jaar geleden gevormd. Het is nu een van de meest populaire bezoekersattracties in Oahu. We stoppen bij het uitkijkpunt op Diamond Head Beach Road zodat u kunt genieten van het landschap van het strand.
Kom voorbij - Beroemd om zijn prachtige natuurlijke landschap, ligt Hanauma Bay Lookout aan de zuidoostkust van het eiland Oahu. Het is een kegelvormige vulkanische baai en hier gedijt een marien ecosysteem vol koraalriffen en vissen.
Halona Blowhole is een rotsformatie gevormd door lavastromen die duizenden jaren geleden natuurlijke gaten in de rotsen hebben gemaakt. De rotsformatie schiet het zeewater de lucht in als het tij sterk en winderig is. Naast de Blowhole ligt het Eternity Beach, waar From Here to Eternity is opgenomen.
Sandy Beach, ook wel bekend als Breakneck Beach onder de lokale bevolking, is een populaire plek voor bodysurfen. Grote kustbreuken veroorzaken veel verwondingen bij onervaren bodysurfers. Dit is de eerste toiletstop.
Als een van de verborgen juweeltjes in Oahu, werd de Byodo-In-tempel in 1968 voltooid ter herdenking van de 100ste verjaardag van de eerste Japanse immigrant naar Hawaï. Het werd gebouwd om een boeddhistische tempel, Byōdō-in, in Japan te repliceren. De tempel is ook te zien in het Amerikaanse drama LOST.
Tropical Farm Macadamia Nut ligt aan de oostkust van Oahu en is een geweldige plek om cadeaus en snacks te kopen. De outlet biedt proeverijen van Kona Coffee en Macadamia Nut.
Kualoa Regional Park is een beroemde fotoplek met een achtergrond van een klein eiland genaamd Mokoli’I. Mokoli’I, ook bekend als Chinaman's Hat voor de lokale bevolking vanwege zijn unieke vorm, is een basalt eilandje. U krijgt de mogelijkheid om op de achtergrond foto's van Koolau Mountain te maken.

Very interesting tour, a bit too much time in the van. We visited every place as described in the description of the tour. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and made things a little bit uncomfortable, as we weren’t prepared for the rain and cold temperatures. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our time and learn lots about the island.

Me and my family enjoyed every second of this tour. We loved the tour guy, he was so informative! The group was small so he made more stops then usual. The other group kept showing up so late whenever we stopped somewhere which was so disappointing. While we were waiting for the other group, our tour guy told us stories and facts about Hawaii which kept us intrigued.
Very little time is spent at each stop. Our tour included 2 non-English speaking groups who spoke continuously. Might be good to have individual headsets so we could hear the tour guide. When the guide is not speaking, appropriate music could be playing. For a six hour tour, van space is cramped for passengers over 5'7".

This tour was super enjoyable. Just about the right amount of time at each stop. I wouldn't have been able to see all these great locations without the tour. This is a great way to see a lot in a day. Our Tour Guide Kaps was super fun and engaging as well. Highly recommend.

A must do experience! We’ve traveled to Hawaii several times and this tour did not disappoint. It was our 25 year anniversary so we booked several events for the week! John, the tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. John, the driver, was very courteous and kept us safe throughout the trip.
