Van 20 november 1945 tot 1 oktober 1946 werd voor het Internationaal Militair Tribunaal in Neurenberg het Major War Criminals Trial gehouden. Als resultaat van dit proces verwierf Rechtszaal 600 van het Nuremberg Palace of Justice wereldwijde bekendheid. Van 1946 tot 1949 werden in dezelfde rechtszaal 12 "Vervolgprocessen" gehouden voor uitsluitend Amerikaanse militaire tribunalen. . Tot op de dag van vandaag, in de zuidoostelijke hoek van Neurenberg, maken de overblijfselen van gebouwen op het voormalige terrein van de bijeenkomst van de nazi-partij indruk op bezoekers met hun immense proporties en vormen ze een levendig getuigenis van de grootheidswaanzin van het nationaal-socialistische regime. Dit gebied van 4 vierkante mijl was bedoeld als een indrukwekkend decor voor de bijeenkomsten van de nazi-partij en diende om hun macht niet alleen aan Duitsland, maar aan de hele wereld te demonstreren. De Nazi Party Rally Grounds werden het gebied in het zuidoosten van Neurenberg genoemd, waar de Nazi Party-rally's van de NSDAP plaatsvonden van 1933 tot 1938. Het algemene ontwerp voor het ontwerp van de site kwam van Albert Speer in het basisconcept en van Walter Brugmann in detail, die ook de implementatie beheerde. Het heeft een totale oppervlakte van meer dan 16,5 km².
Documentatiecentrum Nazi Party Rally Grounds. Van 1933 tot 1938 hielden de nationaal-socialisten hun partijbijeenkomsten in Neurenberg. Tegenwoordig zijn overblijfselen van enorme structuren nog steeds getuigen van hoe deze propagandashow was georganiseerd en geproduceerd.
ligt ten oosten van de Great Road. Het bestaat uit een grote tribune (Zeppelinhaupttribüne) met een breedte van 360 meter (390 meter) en een kleinere tribune. Het was een van de eerste werken van Albert Speer voor de nazi-partij en was gebaseerd op het Pergamon-altaar. De vierkante pijlers zijn geïnspireerd op het werk van de Frans-Amerikaanse architect Paul Philippe Cret. De tribune is beroemd als het gebouw waar de swastika vanaf werd geblazen in 1945, na de val van Duitsland in de Tweede Wereldoorlog. De naam "Zeppelinfeld" of "Zeppelinwiese" verwijst naar het feit dat Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin in augustus 1909 met een van zijn luchtschepen (LZ6) op deze locatie landde.
Het proces van de Major War Criminals werd gehouden voor het International Military Tribunal in Neurenberg van 20 november 1945 tot 1 oktober 1946. Naar aanleiding van deze rechtszaak kreeg Courtroom 600 van het Paleis van Justitie in Neurenberg wereldwijde bekendheid. Van 1946 tot 1949 werden 12 "Volgende proeven" gehouden in dezelfde rechtszaal voor uitsluitend Amerikaanse Amerikaanse militaire tribunalen.

Rob was an experienced guide and lots of fun. He displayed a good knowledge of history and the sights we visited.

Rob was extremely well versed in telling us the history of the sights. He also was extremely pleasurable to spend the day with.
Seba, our guide was super speaking and engaged. He told about some anecdotes that we didn't know about. Super exciting. However, the many buildings on the tour were under renovation, which did not give the same experience

Rob was an excellent, energetic, good natured-humored guide with a great sense of humor and lots of knowledge about Germany and WWII. i would especially like to thank Rob and the tour company for making this excellent tour happen, because there happened to be a marathon in Nuremberg that day and as a result streets were closed or blocked off. As a result, we all had to adjust a bit before we got going--but thanks their clear communication and help, it happened! Overall, this was an excellent tour. We saw a number of historically important sights and Rob had a great book with illustrations, notes, and provided excellent background -- he was quite knowledgeable and interacted with our group very well. We saw the Documentation Center and Nazi rally grounds, zeppelin field, and, finally, the Nuremberg Palace of Justice and Courtroom 600. The audio guide for Courtroom 600 is excellent (and cheap--1 euro) and it was a powerful, moving experience. The accompanying museum-information section is outstanding. Overall, I really recommend this tour--and thank Rob and the company for making it happen on a marathon day!
Rob was one of the best, most energetic, and pleasant guides I have had in a long time. I would personally like to thank Rob and his tour company for helping all of us on the tour and making it happen: there was a marathon happening in Nuremberg that day, so Rob was delayed due to the unexpected traffic and road closures. Even getting a taxi was challenging. Nevertheless, the company and Rob contacted us, gave us all lots of assurance and help, and we all got started and had a fantastic tour. Rob knew a LOT about the Third Reich, Germany and WWII, and he had an excellent booklet of photos which helpfully illustrated his information. One piece of trivia I learned was that Bayer aspirin and the soda Fanta had Nazi origins--and they were my grandmother's favorites. She never took anything but Bayer and adored Fanta--she even drank it at breakfast! Rob gave us lots of important background information about the important historic spots in Nuremberg. We saw the former documentation center and Nazi rally grounds, the zeppelin field, and finally the Nuremberg Palace of Justice and the famous Courtroom 600. Seeing all these places I have read about in history classes many years ago was so important to me. Rob made it happen and told me a lot about these sights I had either forgotten or never knew. Highly recommended tour--especially the visit to Courtroom 600. The Courtroom 600 tour has a very good cheap (1 euro) audio guide and the information-museum center is quite good too.

Absolutely amazing tour We had limited time but wanted to do as much as possible and this tour was perfect for that. On time hotel pick up, tour guide was called Rob and he was amazing from start to finish. Crammed so much knowledge and so many sites into the 3 hour tour. With multiple stop points for photos and loads of history to talk about. Absolutely recommend booking and make sure you book Rob for the trip as he speaks multiple languages
