Ontdek tijdens deze Expert begeleide wandeltocht door Île de la Cité drie van de meest bijzondere monumenten van Europa — de Notre-Dame-kathedraal, Sainte-Chapelle en de Conciergerie — tot leven gebracht door verhalen, geschiedenis en architectonische details die de meeste bezoekers nooit vinden. De Notre-Dame staat nu volledig gerestaureerd na de brand van 2019, stralender dan het in een generatie is geweest. Vroeg in de ochtend komen slots de kathedraal binnen voordat de wachtrijen zich vormen. Alleen kleine groepen.

Historische Tour - Ochtend Tour (0845 en 0900) u komt eerst NOTRE DAME binnen voor een zelfstandig bezoek en sluit u vervolgens aan bij Gids voor historische tour van NOTRE DAME en ILE DE LA CITE.
Na het verkennen van de kathedraal maken we een korte, schilderachtige wandeling naar de oevers van de rivier de Seine. Hier brengen we een paar minuten door met het ontdekken van de iconische groene kraampjes van de Bouquinistes, een traditie die zo speciaal is dat het op de Werelderfgoedlijst van UNESCO staat. Uw gids legt u de fascinerende geschiedenis van deze openluchtboekverkopers uit. Je hebt dan een moment om hun unieke collecties antieke boeken, vintage prints en charmante souvenirs van Parijs te bekijken.

Our guided tour of Notre Dame was, without question, one of the best tours we have experienced in our over 50 years of traveling. Our guide, Shabrez, was personable and very knowledgeable and provided us with a very full and entertaining overview of many interesting aspects of the cathedral. He made our tour enjoyable by using anecdotes, fun historical facts and involved us in the tour through many clever questions. Shabrez is not only a wonderful guide, he would make a great teacher. This tour is Second-to None! Shabrez, our guide, combined his extensive knowledge and exceptional people skills, including his excellent communication, infectious enthusiasm, entertaining storytelling and outgoing personality to bring Notre Dame to life and create a memorable experience, one that will soon not be forgotten. A mostly walking tour mostly about Notre Dame. No entrance to either Notre Dame or St Chapelle. You walk around Notre Dame and go towards St Chapelle but not close to it.

Shanrez was a great guide. The Notre Dame tour was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and shared so many interesting stories, which really brought the history to life. I do wish the tour had included entrance into Notre Dame and Sainte-Chapelle, but I knew that when I booked.
