Northern Lights Adventure : Kleine groep IJsland Tour ́ Ga met ons mee voor een gezellige, onvergetelijke avond in een kleine, intieme groep (max. 19 gasten). Onze vriendelijke lokale gidsen, die gespecialiseerd zijn in het voorspellen van het noorderlicht, gebruiken elke avond live data om de beste, publieksvrije locaties te vinden, waardoor je de beste kans hebt om dit magische fenomeen te zien. Wikkel jezelf in warme IJslandse wollen dekens, geniet van heerlijke warme chocolademelk en geniet van traditionele gebakjes terwijl de nachtelijke hemel tot leven komt. Onze gidsen, die ook professionele fotografen zijn, zullen prachtige foto's van je vastleggen onder de lichten, rechtstreeks in je inbox geleverd binnen 8 dagen, zodat je de magie opnieuw kunt beleven. Dit is niet zomaar een tour; het is een gedeeld verhaal van IJslandse folklore, sterrenkijken en de ongerepte schoonheid van de IJslandse wildernis. Allereerst begin je je jacht op het noorderlicht met een beetje planning via de Aurora-voorspelling en begin je je verkenning door naar de geselecteerde locatie te gaan. U kunt maximaal een uur rijden om een goede plek te bereiken en misschien wachten tot de lichten verschijnen. Op dit punt nemen we de warme chocolademelk en IJslandse gebakjes. We hebben ook IJslandse wollen dekens aan boord om je warm te houden als je buiten staat. Er kan de beslissing zijn om van plek te veranderen, door interactie met andere lokale bewoners, aangezien er elke avond veel verschillende mensen buiten op zoek zijn naar lichten. Dit doen we om de mogelijkheden om noorderlicht te vinden te vergroten. Als er tijdens je tour geen noorderlicht is, kun je het gratis opnieuw proberen (volgens beschikbaarheid). Door in een minibus te reizen krijg je de kwaliteit van een kleine groep van niet meer dan 19 personen, aangezien drukte wordt vermeden om op de best beschikbare plek te komen.

Ophalen begint 30 minuten voor vertrektijd. * 15 aug – 30 sep & 1 apr – 18 apr : van 21 : 30 * 1 okt – 31 mrt : van 20 : 30 We hebben uw e-mailadres nodig zodat we u 30 minuten voor de geplande ophaaltijd een e-mail kunnen sturen. Deze e-mail bevat een beschrijving van onze auto, inclusief een foto en kenteken. We zullen ook de naam van de Gids in de e-mail vermelden. Onze chauffeur- Gids zal altijd stoppen, uitstappen, en voor u zoeken. Ze verlaten het ophaalpunt niet tenzij ze je niet kunnen vinden.

- Geschikt voor alle condities
- Houd er rekening mee dat de toegang tot toiletfaciliteiten buiten de stedelijke gebieden zeer beperkt is tijdens de noorderlichttours.
- Zelfs met de beste gidsen en een gedetailleerde voorspelling zijn waarnemingen nooit gegarandeerd. Als we tijdens de tour geen licht vinden, kun je nog een dag gratis mee (mits onze beschikbaarheid). U heeft echter geen recht op restitutie.
- Een terugbetaling is alleen mogelijk als de tour nooit werkt terwijl je in IJsland bent en je nooit de kans krijgt om deel te nemen aan de tour, wat soms gebeurt vanwege ongunstige weersomstandigheden.
- De tour wordt uitgevoerd in een minibus en omvat niet meer dan 19 passagiers.
- Beschikbaarheid voor tour kan niet worden gecontroleerd zonder een boeking te maken. Creditcards worden alleen belast na bevestiging van getoonde beschikbaarheid.
- Deze tour vindt 's nachts plaats, kleed je dienovereenkomstig aan met warme kleding. Neem een muts, handschoenen en een sjaal mee. Waterdichte kleding wordt altijd aanbevolen tijdens het toeren door IJsland.
- Controleer uw e-mail inbox, wij sturen u op uw vertrekdag in de middag een e-mail om u te informeren of de tour doorgaat of dat deze wordt geannuleerd. Controleer ook de spam inbox.
- Het ophalen begint 30 minuten vóór de vertrektijd.

- Als onze tour niet succesvol is (Noorderlicht niet zichtbaar), worden foto's niet geleverd.
- Vanwege de verkeersregels mogen tourbussen niet rijden of stoppen in bepaalde stadsgebieden en mogen ze alleen stoppen op aangewezen locaties. Als uw hotel niet op onze lijst staat, of als u niet zeker weet waar u ons kunt ophalen, mail ons dan.

Very happy with this tour, it was well organised and the communication with the company was excellent. We managed to see the lights, albeit not as spectacular as I’d hoped, although our guide worked hard to find the best locations for us. Obviously the tour group has no control over the conditions! The sky was clear, though, and even seeing the stars was amazing. The hot chocolate and snacks went down a treat, and we had really good quality photos from the guide available after a few days. Would recommend this tour.

We were really desperate to see the Northern Lights. We had traveled to the south of Iceland to see them and we had no luck due to weather. We booked a trip with EastWest for the evening before our tour but it was cancelled because of cloud cover. I really appreciated that as the company could have easily taken us out and taken our time and money. So I felt that this was a very honest company. This was also reinforced by the concierge of our hotel who said EastWest was the only company she would book for this kind of tour. Our tour guide Baldvin picked us up at our hotel. The van was incredibly comfortable and had WIFI. Big plus! Baldvin was very informative and was just as excited when he spotted the lights as the guests were. We were super lucky to see them. It was very special and was a highlight of the trip. It's not like anything I imagined. We could see them with the naked eye, but not as bright and stunning as through the camera lens. I appreciated that Baldvin included a bathroom break at an Icelandic gas station. We were able to get drinks and snacks which was another big plus for us. All in all I thought this tour was well done and very enjoyable.

We had a northern lights tours with Baldvin. We enjoyed this tour with him and it felt exciting to go find the northern lights and see if we would be lucky enough to see them. We felt he went above and beyond as a storm was coming the next day and he drove farther out so that we would have a clear enough sky to see them. We are able to see them and the photos turned out great!

Our tour to see the Northern Lights was very enjoyable, even in the very cold weather! Tour guide was knowledgeable and informative and he seemed very experienced in "finding" the Northern Lights, and we did! I believe prices are comparable to other tour groups. Reserving the tour through our hotel was very easy. I highly recommend EastWest as a tour source and would happily go with them again.

My wife really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the science in determining whether the lights would be visible or not. Unfortunately they’re not visible with the naked eye. You have to use your phone and take a picture , then the color of the lights come thru.

What you experienced is quite common, especially on nights with lower aurora activity. The camera can capture colors and details that the human eye cannot always see clearly, so the lights can appear faint or more like a glow in real time. On stronger nights, the aurora can be much more vivid to the naked eye, but as a natural phenomenon, this level of intensity cannot be guaranteed on any given evening.
