Het noorderlicht (of noorderlicht) is misschien wel een van de populairste dingen die toeristen naar IJsland komen om te bezoeken. Deze verbluffende lichtweergave vindt plaats hoog in de bovenste atmosfeer van de aarde als gevolg van zonnewinden die botsen met het magnetische veld van onze planeet. Ons noorderlichtteam werkt de hele dag hard aan het controleren van de weersgegevens om een locatie te voorspellen waar het licht goed zichtbaar moet zijn. De bezochte locaties zijn verschillend van dag tot dag gaan we in de richting met de meeste kans om het noorderlicht te zien. Omdat deze tour weersafhankelijk is en waarnemingen niet gegarandeerd zijn, bent u van harte welkom om gratis mee te doen aan een andere Northern Lights Coach-tour.

Reykjavik heeft een hoge mate van lichtvervuiling, waardoor het moeilijk is om de Aurora goed te bekijken. Om dit probleem op te lossen, gaan we het donkere platteland in om op zoek te gaan naar de lichten. Je wordt vergezeld door een van onze ervaren noorderlichtgidsen die veel informatie met je zal hebben. Met een beetje geluk vindt u een geweldige plek om de Aurora borealis te bekijken. Wanneer je de locatie bereikt die je gids als het beste punt voor een waarneming heeft geselecteerd, heb je wat tijd om uit de bus te stappen om de lichten te zien. Je hebt genoeg tijd om wat foto's te maken. Als je het moeilijk hebt, kan je gids je helpen met het instellen van je camera.

Jonas was a super host - he is passionate about his work and couldn’t have done more to make this enjoyable. The Northern Lights weren’t quite as obliging, but we did get a few glimpses-
Even though we didn’t see the Northern Lights (bummer, but nature does its thing), this was still a great experience. Our guide, JP, was fantastic—super knowledgeable about the Northern Lights and shared lots of interesting facts throughout the tour. He was a great driver, easy to talk to, and the hot chocolate and treats were such a nice touch. He really made the whole experience enjoyable and worth it, even without the lights. I’d definitely recommend this tour!
our driver Kuba was excellent , patience , courteous, helpful and was knowledgeable about his job. it was exciting for me bec it was my dream to come to iceland to see the northern lights i was blessed to see it and we have the perfect driver and guide his customer service is excellent and i would definitely recommend this company a to my relatives and friends when i go back to the US i had a wonderful experienced. I did this tour with Svetlanna, who was in communication with other people in order to get the best spots for us to see the Northern Lights. We were a group of about 20 people in a minibus. She took us to three different locations, one of which had hot beverages inside. The lights gave us a magnificent show that night, we could clearly see them with our bare eyes! Svetlanna gave us some information along the way and drove carefully through the night in Thingvellir National Park.
We were surprised and delighted. The expert knowledge and experience of our driver gave us the best chance to see the Northern Lights. The small tour allowed us to get on and off quickly and have space safely near the bus in the dark night to take photos. I wish I had worn more layers. Standing in the icy wind waiting for the Aurora to appear was tough.
Amazing experience!! We had a lot of cloud coverage but managed to find a spot in the National Park where there was a big clearing for a decent amount of time. Our guide was brilliant and very knowledgeable. He also gave us tips on the best way to photograph the Northern Lights. We booked the small group which was a perfect and we were able to go where the big 53-seater coaches couldn't. We arrived back at about 1am, it is a long evening but definitely worth it.
Axel did a great job bringing us to several locations where we had great views of the aurora. He timed the changes of location well

Michael from Bus Travel Iceland made our Northern Lights experience absolutely magical. Not only did he teach us about the Aurora, but also took us to places where no one else was. Having high hopes to see the lights, this trip became more than we could have ever imagined!
Great tour! Kristoff is a really good tour guide. He is nice and made sure that we all can see the aurora. He drove us to three spots, at the first spot, we could see the aurora but it was really weak. However, at the second and third spot, the aurora was strong and he also took pictures for us. Hot chocolate is also tasty.
