Normandië D-Day Stranden Dagtrip Hotel Pick Up

Doru was a fantastic guide. He was prompt picking us up for our tour, and we had a pleasant ride from Paris with him sharing many facts and about the Normandy region and the D-Day landings. He allowed us to stop as needed and moved at our pace throughout the day. He answered all questions we had and was very knowledgeable. Overall it was wonderful experience and we could not have asked for a better day or a better guide with Doru. Highly recommend!

The beaches are obviously neither beautiful nor pleasant but just worth a visit in memory of the Second World War that's all

Doru was a wonderful, knowledgeable tour guide for our trip to Normandy Beaches, providing details about the history of what happened on D-Day as well as other information pertaining to the sites along our drive. It was a fantastic day and we highly recommend it!!

Our tour guide was a history buff and made the experience so much more interesting for our family. The kids learned much more than they did in a class room and came away with a greater appreciation for the sacrifices paid by so many.

This was a great day, very enjoyable and was extremely an honor to see where D-day occurred, also the small town of Honfleur was a lovely way to end the day!

Normandy was great and I highly recommend it. HOWEVER, to pick up another couples we had to go very far out of our route It added an extra 3 hours of driving to our day. We were picked up at our hotel at 8:30 am and didn't return until 10:30 pm! We were exhausted! It was very unfair to us as we had booked months in advance, and the other couple booked only 2 days before. We weren't told about this other pickup until that morning. And our guide did not tell us how much it would add to our drive time. Very unfair! It do not recommend this team -- very disappointing.

Doru is nothing short of amazing! Never have I had a tour guide more knowledgeable about the history of not only the places we visited but the different time periods as well. We had a very personal experience being in a small group. Would recommended for first time travels as well as return tourists. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you so much Doru

What a day! Our guide, Doru, was knowledgeable, personable and patient. He gave us plenty of time at each stop and tried hard to make the tour special in every way. My husband and I loved every minute of our private tour that included Honfleur, Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach and Bayeux!
