Amazing experience. Great length of tour and our guide couldn't have done more, he was great! Great with the kids and adults alike.
I want to make clear that none of this review is about our guide, who really went out of his way to try to fix problems that were not his fault at all. He did an exceptional job and we appreciated him over the course of the night. However, this is a very mid experience. There are several deceptive things in this listing that they do not make clear. First and most importantly, they state that this experience is 3 hours long. What they do not make clear, at all, is that its a roughly 45 minute drive out from the meetup point and 45 minutes back. On top of the instruction time, the time at the end, etc, there is, at most around 30-35 minutes of actual ride time. That ride time itself is very unimpressive as well. They take you on a very well defined trail that has deep grooves already carved into it, meaning you're not really navigating your snowmobile as much as just being on rails. You drive maybe 2km, slowly, out to a big circle where you stand around for about 10 minutes before heading back the exact same way. It felt like an amusement ride, not an experience. There were several other major problems. We were about two minutes late, which, fair, that is on us. But they had already left at that point without contacting us. When we tried to check in, the front desk seemed flustered and unable to find us originally. I feel like since we booked via Viator, it didn't sync to their system correctly and they "lost" us. Eventually they got our awesome guide to come pick us up, but then we had to try to "catch" the rest of the group which involved about an hour of driving around trying to find everyone else, before we finally got out to the camp. This happened because we were two minutes late. It just felt very disorganized. The instruction felt very rushed and they didn't go over everything. Both me and my partner had issues at first with our snowmobiles that could have been easily explained. Finally, temper your expectations about the camp at the end. The "sausage" is just a hot dog with ketchup and mustard. It was fine, but nothing about the food served felt particularly authentic or unique. We didn't have a bad time overall, persay, and all of the guides were great, but considering that it cost over 400 Euro, nearly $500 USD, it absolutely was not a good value for the money. We wouldn't do it again.
The snow mobile tour was really fantastic thankyou ! Enni was lovely and very friendly and made the experience really great
We could not see auroras!! but we had a great time our little girl of 5 years have a great time thanks to our guide Andoni, totally recommended to go with children!
The snowmobile experience hunting the Northern Light was amazing. We loved our guide Matilda who let us have one of the most outstanding experiences of our life. She was really nice, gave a lot of information about the lapland lifestyle and nature and let us see the amazing Aurora before a really appreciated little barbecue in a tipical tepee.

I went to Finland in January and it was undoubtedly one of the trips of my life. Staylapland contributed a lot to the unforgettable moments we had. I think more and more that the “agency” that accompanies us defines the experience we have and makes the difference between what can be excellent and what can be a nightmare. The staylapland contributed to making it excellent and unforgettable. We made two tours with them, the hunt for snowmobile Auroras and the ride with the reindeer. It was amazing and I really want to repeat
I had a great time on this tour! Ofcourse it is always unpredictable what the weather will do and if the Aurora is visible. Luckily for me it was showing this night. But even besides that, the team of StayLapland were great guides and made sure the whole trip was fun, safe AND interesting! The campfire with sausages and Finnish drinks was a nice way to end the evening.
Tour was amazing and the guide was very nice. very clouded Day so unfortunately no sign of the Northern Lights. But still a very great experience!
We had the best experience on this tour! The forest at night is magical and our guide Ale was the best. With or without auroras it is completely worth it! The snowmobiles are a lot of fun and the kids loved being in the sled.
